The Day of the Grand Ceremony

Holy Wing Islands, Hila Royal Capital.

News that The Church would hold the Divine Descent Ceremony in three days had already spread throughout the city—they had not only posted notices at the gates of the Central Holy See, but also sent people through every district to proclaim that the deity was about to reappear in Hila.

"The meeting with the Embassy Delegation is also scheduled for the ceremony?" Xia Fan asked, accepting the invitation the butler handed him and giving it a quick glance.

"Yes." The butler answered respectfully. "This shows that The Church places great importance on its ties with the East. When the time comes, all of Hila City will know of your country's existence."

"I understand. The delegation will have its itinerary ready that day."

"Thank you for your cooperation." The butler said with relief. "If you need anything, you may inform me at any time."

"Wait." As the man turned to leave, Xia Fan called him back. "I heard that the selection of the new Son of the Holy Spirit will also take place alongside the Divine Descent Ceremony. Is that true?"

"That is correct. This grand celebration will last an entire day, and the Hera Church has arranged many events for it. The selection of the Son of the Holy Spirit is one of them," the butler answered truthfully.

"But weren't past Sons of the Holy Spirit selected through tours of the various regions?"

"This time is rather special." The butler smiled. "But the Son of the Holy Spirit is, by nature, someone acknowledged by the deity. Since that is the case, would it not be more convincing for the deity to choose one personally?"

After he left the reception room, Olina emerged from behind another door.
