Arc 17Jinxia’s Famine and War

The Bureau of Military Affairs engineered a grain crisis and attacked Jinxia’s efforts to stabilize Shenzhou, while Jinxia answered with relief, seafood distribution, and a strike against Fei Nian. The stretch ends with Yu Linglong learning of Jinxia’s power and questioning Yan Qing’s position.

  • As grain prices soared, Pelican’s agents incited unrest in Baihe City, but Li and Luo Qingqing helped expose the plot and Jinxia sent aid to the starving residents.
  • Xia Fan organized seafood supplies and cold-storage transport, while Jinxia’s Flat Ice Boats brought relief and fresh fish to Baihe City.

Arc 18The Road to War

Li rescued the captives of Yuetai Villa and brought many Yao to Jinxia, while Yu Linglong investigated the city’s growing number of Qi Sense Users and warned Ning Wanjun about Fei Nian. Ning Qianshi ordered an army campaign against Jinxia, as Li returned with a second tail and more Yao seeking refuge.

  • Yan Qing told Yu Linglong that He’er carried the Tianshu Envoy’s soul and urged her to investigate Fei Nian’s possible ties to the An Clan and Black Gate Cult.
  • Fei Nian awoke in a Bronze Ruin after the Copper Pellet healed and transported him, then strangled Fei Junzhi when he noticed the pellet’s escape art.

Arc 19War and the Seven Stars

Jinxia defeated the Ganzhou armies while Yu Linglong tried to turn the Seven Stars Bureau against the war and expose Fei Nian. Bai Zhan seized the Seven Stars inheritance, claimed the Tianshu succession, and left Qian gravely wounded before Luo Qingqing rescued him.

  • Xia Fan reviewed the refugees and their abilities as Jinxia prepared for war, while Li showed him the strange book she had found at Yuetai Villa.
  • Yu Linglong investigated Fei Nian, but he attacked her with black fire, and she escaped Shangyuan and sought allies to stop the campaign against Jinxia.

Arc 20The Battle for Jinxia

Qian joined Jinxia as it confronted the Bureau of Military Affairs, while Xia Fan and Ning Wanjun used new weapons and psychological warfare to break the invading armies. After Ning Wanjun killed Hu Wan and the Jinzhou Army collapsed, Bai Zhan revealed himself and confronted Xia Fan.

  • Fei Nian appeared before Bai Zhan, offered him dark violet qi, and urged him to continue his plans despite Qian’s survival.
  • Qian reached Jinxia, reported Bai Zhan’s rise and the disappearance of several figures, then joined Jinxia as it mobilized against the advancing allied army.
