• Aurora sent successive expeditions through the Black Barrier, then led a team into the barren world beyond it before bringing Jaine back alive.
• Venerable Shengtian toured Jinxia and saw its mechanical beasts, new currency, bustling streets, and nighttime entertainment, while Yan Qing recognized her as her missing friend Li Mengyun.
• Li Mengyun met Xia Fan and Princess Guangping, explained the Salvation Sect’s warnings about the coming calamity, and proposed cooperation, and Xia Fan offered supplies in exchange for access to Baiyao Mountain.
• Xia Fan traveled toward Baiyao Mountain with Ning Wanjun, Li Mengyun, Hualin, and others, then discovered a ruined underground train and led the group through the Exposure Zone.

He became the Sect’s new Pope and began sharing the Tower’s technology with Jinxia, leaving the alliance focused on protecting people and developing artifact technology.

• Xia Fan joined the Salvation Sect’s expedition into Skywell, where the party faced lethal heat, collapsing structures, and Evil Spirits before a sabotaged lift sent them plunging deeper.
• Xia Fan and his companions reached an emergency gate, entered the Fourth Command Post, and learned the Escape Tower’s purge would kill everyone except a sheltered legal lifeform.
• Xia Fan accepted fusion with the Escape Tower, restored its lights, and launched it, blasting tens of thousands of Evil Spirits into the sky and tearing much of the Chaos entity from Skywell.
• Xia Fan interrupted Yao Wu’s attempt to summon an Evil Spirit, took her soul bottle, and left her to die as he rejoined his companions.

Xia Fan’s new technologies protect Jinxia from Zhou Sheng’s sabotage while Seven Stars and Yama clash over an immortal artifact. The Kaiyang Envoy captures Tsi Qing, and Sorcerer Zhang reveals that the temple is the artifact Seven Stars seeks.

• Mo Yun embraced the prospect of transforming Jinxia through Mechanism Art, while Xia Fan and his allies discovered Matriarch Stitch’s tomb and learned that Qian Yan was her heir.
• Thought Control joined Xia Fan’s group in an assistance doll, and Mo Yun’s wireless transmission test confirmed that Jinxia could receive power from Baili Station.
• Zhou Sheng poisoned Jinxia’s reservoir with arsenic, but Xia Fan’s team detected the danger, shut the waterworks, and captured the conspirators before the poisoned water entered the city.
• Gao Sheng rejected Gongshu Wang’s proposal to attack Jinxia, while Gongshu Wang sent Gongshu Feng and Gongshu Jin to study at Jinxia’s Academy under false identities.

Jinxia committed troops to defend Yama while Gongshu Feng and Gongshu Jin became entangled in a rebel struggle against the forces exploiting refugees. After the rebels won a battle at Yellow Court Mountain, Gongshu Feng set out for Jinxia, and the monk freed Tsi Qing from prison.

• Xia Fan persuaded Ning Wanjun to send a reinforcement division to Yama Island, and the leaders named the mission Overlord.
• Gongshu Feng and Gongshu Jin traveled south among refugees, where armed men attacked the crowd and captured the brothers before the Rebel Army struck the manor.
• Mo Yun demonstrated a more agile third-generation Mechanical Beast, and Ning Wanjun ordered Suzaku to receive the modification.
• Zhang Yuan and Shopkeeper Zhang published Flowers Bloom, whose popularity drew Li Xing to investigate its anonymous author, Xintao.
