Chapter Summaries

Chen Mo and Li Mengxue left the Rift to help outside the city, and Chen Mo went on to the Jiangbei Abyss to take revenge on the Abyss Church. He killed Chu Xiong and a Grandmaster church leader, uncovered part of the church’s plans, and destroyed its stronghold before returning home with Li Mengxue.

• Chen Mo and Li Mengxue met Zhang Zheng, learned that the Beast Tide outside the city was under control, and headed out to help.
• Chen Mo reached the Jiangbei Abyss, where his Space Power advanced and let his Flying Daggers shuttle through space.
• Chen Mo killed the Beast Warriors and Fierce Beasts around the Abyss Church stronghold, including Chu Xiong, then fought and subdued a Third-rank Grandmaster Sheep-headed person.
• Chen Mo invaded the Sheep-headed person’s Sea of Consciousness and learned that the Abyss Church planned to sabotage the Martial Examination and trigger a Beast Tide, with help from forces inside the city.
• Chen Mo collected the stronghold’s valuables and evidence, destroyed it with explosives, and returned home with Li Mengxue.

Ma Siming and Liu Yueru went to the legion to find Chen Mo and Li Mengxue, and Zhang Zheng confirmed they were safe and had helped eliminate the Medium Abyss Rift. After seeing Chen Mo's battle footage and hearing that he defeated Zhang Zheng instantly, both visitors left to find him and Li Mengxue.

After sharing their earnings and gifts with his family and spending time with Li Mengxue's family, Chen Mo left the Abyss Church investigation to Li Yuntao and the City Lord.

He confirmed that Grandmaster-level Teleportation now reached five hundred meters, leaving him satisfied with his progress in Space Power.

The four King Grade Fierce Beasts realized the array had been tampered with and began searching for the intruder, while Chen Mo learned that two humanoid Fierce Beasts were heading toward his position.

• Chen Mo crossed the Space Passage and mapped a rift ten times larger, finding two sleeping King Grade Fierce Beasts beside Divine Origin Grass and another passage containing an intact Teleportation Array.

• Chen Mo examined the spoils from the hunt, kept valuable items from Night Hawk and Wild Bull’s Space Rings, and buried the unwanted objects.
• Chen Mo suspected the Fierce Beasts would retaliate, hurried to repair the Space Passage, and resolved to protect humanity from them.
• Chen Mo checked his System Panel and found that killing the Fierce Beasts had raised him to the second rank of Psychic Grandmaster.

The Beast Emperor ordered a small-scale Beast Tide in the Daxing Abyss Rift after learning the humans had destroyed the Teleportation Array and discovered his plan. Yang Ming and Liang Hong entered the Rift to suppress the beasts, but a King Grade Sky-Rending Eagle attacked them, leaving Yang Ming’s fate uncertain.

• Night Owl reported that the Teleportation Array had been destroyed on both sides and that Night Hawk and Wild Bull were likely dead, so the Beast Emperor ordered a Beast Tide and sent the Abyss Church to gather intelligence.
• King Grade Fierce Beasts launched a small-scale Beast Tide in the Daxing Abyss Rift, forcing Martial Artists to flee and prompting soldiers to enter and suppress it.
• Yang Ming and Liang Hong went into the Rift, rescued Martial Artists along the way, and pushed toward its depths to find the cause of the Beast Tide.

Chen Mo rescued Yang Ming and Liang Hong from King Grade Fierce Beasts, then continued into the Rift to fight the Beast Tide. In the depths, Night Owl ordered Fire Tiger King to hunt humans and investigate the Abyss Church, which he could not contact.

• Chen Mo healed Yang Ming, told him that Liang Hong had been rescued, and sent him outside while he continued deeper into the Rift.
• Yang Ming headed out to summon reinforcements, while Chen Mo used teleportation and Flying Daggers to kill Fierce Beasts as he advanced.

Night Owl learned that the beasts he had sent out were dying and set off with the Fire Tiger King to find the human expert, while Chen Mo prepared to meet three approaching King Grade Fierce Beasts.

• Martial Artists discovered that an unseen expert had killed the Fierce Beasts pursuing them, so they dismantled the ordinary corpses for the expert.
• Chen Mo continued hunting, harvesting Sky-Rending Eagles and reflecting that he could not have warned the military without letting Night Hawk and Wild Bull return.

Chen Mo confronted the King-Grade Fierce Beasts Night Owl, Fire Tiger King, and Brute Bull King, who had come seeking revenge for Night Owl’s younger brother. After Night Owl’s attacks failed against Chen Mo’s use of Space Power, he ordered the other two Kings to attack together and prevent Chen Mo from escaping.

• Night Owl, Fire Tiger King, and Brute Bull King transformed into their true forms and rushed toward the frontline as Chen Mo approached while harvesting Fierce Beasts.
• Night Owl spotted Chen Mo and demanded to know whether he had harmed Night Owl’s younger brother, but Chen Mo insulted the three beasts and challenged them to fight.
• Night Owl sent two tornadoes at Chen Mo, but they passed through him harmlessly when he used Space Power.
