Background / History

Tang Wulin entered Eastsea Academy as a Blue Silver Grass Soul Master. Though Blue Silver Grass was considered a weak Martial Soul, his physical strength was extraordinary; he defeated Xie Xie in their dormitory confrontation and triggered further awakening of his Golden Dragon King bloodline 19.

He became part of Class Zero alongside Lin Xingyu, Gu Yue, Xie Xie, Xu Xiaoyan, Zhang Yangzi, and Wang Jinxi. In the Promotion Tournament, Tang Wulin displayed his first golden scales and enough strength to overpower Wang Jinxi, but Lin Xingyu subsequently knocked him unconscious and removed him from the stage 27.

Following repeated losses, Tang Wulin developed a more analytical approach to combat. He reflected on poor team coordination and recognized the need to understand both his allies’ strengths and his opponents’ weaknesses 33.
