If OAA contained countless Semi-Independent Spacetime Aggregates established according to the foundational rules of the DC Worldview—one Complete DC World after another—
Then the Sleep Demon before Orsaga was the Living Manifestation of the Dream Concept in one such DC World.
His existence was equivalent to the dreams and fantasies of countless Lifeforms.
He was a kind of conceptual deity.
Unless every dream of every living being in that DC World was completely destroyed.
Sleep Demon was, for all practical purposes, utterly immortal.
Moreover, as the manifestation of dreams, he could swap truth and falsehood. He could turn things that had truly happened into dreams, making them vanish without a trace like bubbles in a dream. He could also transform certain false dreams into reality, casually moving all manner of unimaginable things and scenes into the Real World.
In other words.
He could turn a real universe into a false Nanke's Dream.
Making all things shatter when the dreamer awoke.
He could turn an absurd dream filled with childish imaginings into a real universe filled with strange Physical Laws.
Letting ordinary people fly freely through the sky simply by dancing ballet.
Letting pigs, horses, cows, sheep... all stand upright, pedal bicycles, and sing nursery rhymes...
