Not joining.
That was the result Orsaga got after rolling the die.
He had deliberately blocked off some of his perception.
So he had not known what the result would be beforehand.
Faced with that result,
he shrugged, casually tossed the die into his mouth, and chewed it up, remarking somewhat indistinctly:
"Looks like those factions and I really aren't quite meant to be~"
"I might as well start one myself someday, just for fun..."
As he spoke,
there was no disappointment or hesitation in him.
He hardly seemed like someone who had been seriously considering it earlier.
But the little girl in his arms had long since grown used to that.
She knew perfectly well that her father did not actually care much about such things.
If he agonized over them for a while, it was mostly because his mind habitually went off the rails and he wanted to do something outrageous to relieve his boredom.
As long as someone stopped him beforehand,
there generally would not be any consequences.
Of course...
The people who could stop Orsaga, that scumbag of a demon, from continuing to act up
were usually limited to his family.
His subordinates did not even have the courage to offer a few words of advice.
Or rather, even if they did, it would be useless.
At heart, Orsaga did not care what those people thought.
Overbearing, indifferent, insane, extreme...
As someone who occasionally handled affairs in Crimson Heaven,
Avici knew very well how everyone else saw her father.
A tyrant!!
An absolute tyrant!!
Not only outsiders, but even the native residents and many of his subordinates were especially afraid of him, or outright terrified.
He did not care about loyalty.
He did not care what others thought.
He did not care about their true origins...
