Good Serpent, Evil Serpent, and AO immediately read the information contained within it.
Though it felt as if there were certain cultural barriers.
To them, however, the information was still not difficult to understand.
Before long, after analyzing the information many times, AO asked:
"You mean to create a Special Punishment Mechanism that will activate automatically once a god's actions trigger certain conditions?"
Lady of Pain nodded in affirmation.
"In Investiture of the Gods, those Lifeforms known as cultivators and immortals slaughtered one another because their actions upset the world's balance, producing Calamity Qi and thus giving rise to a killing tribulation. Therefore, there had to be beings to fill the hole, allowing the world to regain its original balance."
"That sounds rather reasonable. After all, once you've poked a hole in the basket, someone has to patch it."
"So, perhaps we can use that as a reference and establish a Special Mechanism. Once the number of gods, or their actions, reaches a certain point, the world's rules will undergo corresponding changes. The Divine Kingdoms of the gods will begin passively descending toward the Material Plane, while the eternal lives of all gods will be affected, causing them to age and weaken..."
"And the only solution will be to reduce the current number of gods by twenty percent or so."
