Simple things would be made complicated.
Complicated things would be made even more complicated.
Perhaps it was because he came with some special aura.
He did not even need to pay particular attention to the other man's behavior.
Merely from Fredos's devotion, which fluctuated in waves but kept trending upward overall,
Orsaga understood.
The fellow before him was once again dreaming up something utterly inexplicable.
All he could say was this.
Letting your imagination run wild was the deadliest thing of all.
The fantasies of fanatics, complete with automatic beautification filters, were even more extraordinarily bizarre...
After giving it some thought,
to keep the man from assigning him some baffling divine portfolio,
Orsaga offered an offhand reminder:
"...You'd better not dream up anything strange."
It would not be good if he accidentally went from a war-type false god to an evil god...
After hearing that, Fredos immediately looked deeply convinced and solemnly agreed:
"I understand that Your Majesty's foresight is far beyond anything I could hope to match."
"So I will certainly behave myself and refrain from doing anything unnecessary."
"Please rest assured, Your Majesty!"
Clearly,
he had embellished Orsaga's role in his mind.
Because,
as the very person he was referring to, even Orsaga himself had no idea what this supposed foresight was...
Ever since entering this plane, aside from eating, drinking, and enjoying himself,
he probably had not done anything else...
No matter how anyone examined his actions, they would find nothing that could qualify as foresight...
However,
even though he knew something was off,
Orsaga certainly had no reason to reject a sycophant on his own side automatically putting a flattering spin on everything he did.
It did him no harm, after all.
So,
after a brief silence,
he tacitly accepted the man's imaginative efforts.
"All right..."
