"I remember now," Diana suddenly opened her beautiful eyes and inexplicably reminded, "Xi Nian, get ready!"
"Ready? Ready for what?"
Xi Nian turned his head and glanced at his aunt. He noticed that the off-the-shoulder white dress his aunt was wearing had transformed into the armored skirt she wore during combat. A battle shield and a silver sword were strapped to her back, and the crowns on her forehead and wrists, along with her bracelets, gleamed brilliantly in the sunlight.
"Aunt, you're dressed like this..." Xi Nian realized and turned back, his hurried voice quickly stopping.
He saw that the numerous tourists on the deck were still socializing and sightseeing, and not a single one was looking at Diana and his aunt, who had changed her attire. It was as if, in the eyes of others, they no longer existed on the deck.
"Don't worry, they can't see us," Diana said, simultaneously reaching out and lifting Xi Nian directly. She held the Golden Lasso in her right hand, raising it upwards, and crouched slightly, assuming a charging posture.
Xi Nian realized what his aunt was about to do and couldn't help but exclaim, "Wait! I'm not mentally prepared yet!"
Before Xi Nian could finish speaking, Diana leaped forward with decisive speed, soaring tens of meters beyond the cruise ship.
Just as they were about to land on the sea, Diana swung the Golden Lasso she had raised forward, ensnaring the crest of a distant surging wave. Using the momentum from the pull, she leaped forward again, soaring into the sea ahead!
It looked as though they were racing across the sea, stirring up a path of splashing ripples.
"Look! What is that?"
The tourists on the deck all looked out at the sea in front of the cruise ship. They could only see a straight white trail, mistaking it for some kind of marine creature like a tuna, and watched as the white water jet rapidly disappeared towards the end of the Aegean Sea.
Diana was like a human fighter jet in a low-altitude dive over the sea. Xi Nian, cradled in her arms, took out a pair of wind-resistant goggles from his pocket and put them on. Only then could he open his eyes against the strong gale force wind that rushed towards them.
The sea was constantly receding to both sides of their bodies. Soon, the yacht was left far behind, eventually disappearing from view. On the vast expanse of the sea, only Diana and Xi Nian were plunging forward.
Just like that.
They traveled an unknown distance, whether ten kilometers or a hundred kilometers.
Until—
With a "pop," Diana and Xi Nian passed through an invisible barrier.
Xi Nian's eyes widened. The originally boundless deep blue sea had suddenly transformed into a clear, shallower, blue-green sea!
Amongst large clusters of reefs, standing like a formation of guarding soldiers, magnificent islands were situated at the deepest part of this sea. The largest and most central island was surrounded by beaches like flowing golden sand. Within it lay rugged mountains, and atop the peaks and cliffs sat numerous white temples and sacred buildings in the characteristic style of ancient Greece!
Large waterfalls, like coronets adorning the mountaintops, cascaded down with powerful momentum, forming an extremely dazzling rainbow halo!
Without his Aunt Diana explaining, Xi Nian knew it just by looking.
This was the land of the remnants of the Olympian gods, a dreamlike island paradise, isolated from the outside world and free from worldly strife!
Paradise Island!
On the beaches of Paradise Island that faced the open sea, a group of wild female warriors, clad in ancient Greek-style leather armor and battle attire, wielding cold weapons such as bows, arrows, and metal spears, watched the unknown entities approaching rapidly like water jets in the near sea. They stood ready, raising their shields, drawing their bows, and pointing their cold, sharp spearheads and sword tips outwards!
The female general at the forefront sat astride a strong black horse, holding a silver longsword, her face etched with resolute coldness. Her exposed muscles were bronze-colored, possessing a dominance and battle aura far exceeding that of most men!
Just as the Amazons prepared to attack the intruders.
The female general, watching the increasingly close intruders, suddenly trembled all over and shouted, "Everyone, lay down your weapons!"
"General?" "This..."
The female warriors were perplexed but still followed the order and put away their weapons.
Thump, thump!
One intruder, no, it should be two intruders, arrived on the beach of Paradise Island from the outer sea at extreme speed.
Seeing the woman in battle attire wearing the unique crown of Amazonian royalty in her arms, the Amazon warriors on the scene were stunned. Then, collectively and with great excitement, they placed their hands on their chests and knelt on one knee, displaying their loyalty and support—
"Princess!"
"Diana, is that you?" The female general dismounted from the black horse, her whole body trembling, and spoke in disbelief.
Diana gently placed Xi Nian, whom she was holding, down. She couldn't hide her joy as she quickly walked forward, "Yes, Antiope, Aunt. I've returned."
The two embraced tightly.
A smile appeared on Xi Nian's face. He wisely stayed to the side, not disturbing his aunt's reunion with her family.
Antiope's previously stern face was filled with smiles as she patted Diana's back, saying excitedly, "Good, good, it's good you're back! Your mother and all the Amazonians have been eagerly awaiting your return!"
"Mother, is she well?" Diana asked softly.
"She's very well, but she misses you greatly." Antiope smiled and urged, "Come with me to the palace quickly so your mother and the tribe can see you!"
"Antiope, wait a moment," Diana shook her head.
At this moment, the Amazons on the scene had already shifted their gaze, focusing uniformly on Xi Nian behind Diana.
"A human?"
Many female warriors instinctively showed sharp eyes of rejection and hostility.
"Princess Diana." Antiope looked at Xi Nian nearby, her face returning to its previous solemn indifference. "You should know that outsiders are not allowed to set foot on Paradise Island. Moreover, a human male!"
Antiope then said to Xi Nian, "Who are you?"
"I… I am…" Xi Nian hesitated. Facing the female general Antiope and a host of fierce, stern Amazon warriors, he suddenly didn't know how to state his identity.
The most appropriate would be Diana's… adopted son?
In truth, Xi Nian had always instinctively rejected the identity of an adopted son. That's why, from childhood, he had called Diana "Auntie," and Diana had tacitly agreed to this title.
However, if he didn't claim the identity of an adopted son now, if he didn't refer to himself as Diana's relative, it was clear he wouldn't be able to get past the Amazons.
Just as Xi Nian was hesitating, Diana stepped forward.
Diana said nothing in explanation. Her exquisite, peerless face remained calm. Standing close in front of Xi Nian, she suddenly raised her hands and removed the coronet that clearly symbolized her status.
"Your Highness Diana, what do you intend to do?!"
Antiope seemed to realize something and couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.
Ignoring Antiope's warning words, Diana smiled slightly and, under the shocked gazes of the Amazon warriors, placed her silver coronet on Xi Nian's head.
Xi Nian blinked, unable to comprehend what this meant.
