Ch. 202Warhammer Party Core Members

Wu Heng used poisoned zombies to fight the White Armbands, while the Warhammer Party broke through Luntam City's defenses under Blood Axe Nagzeo. When Blood Axe's fighters attacked a horde of zombies, their bodies burst into toxic smoke, leaving him searching for the Necromancer behind the assault.

  • Wu Heng animated three corpses to lure the gang members outside, then used their exploding bodies' poisonous smoke to help his team defeat the White Armbands.
  • Marta gathered roughly seventy or eighty nearby corpses, and Wu Heng raised them with Battlefield of the Undead to attack another White Armband force.
  • The Warhammer Party poured through the open city gates and Blood Axe Nagzeo shattered the Iron Guard Knights' shield formation.
  • Blood Axe rallied the Warhammer Party to attack the defenders, but the gang members fled as the assault overwhelmed them.
  • A horde of zombies emerged from a smoke-filled alley, and Blood Axe led his fighters to kill them until the corpses began exploding into toxic fog.
  • Blood Axe realized the zombies' bodies released poison when killed and searched for the Necromancer directing them.

Ch. 203You Dare Kill Your Own Teammates

Wu Heng turned the battle at the city gate with Poison Gas, killed Blood Axe, and raised him as a Level 14 Skeleton Beast Warrior. After persuading the Iron Guard Knights to keep defending the Outer City, Wu Heng confronted Burke and shot him, prompting Gaulberry to challenge him.

  • Blood Axe fought Fireblade and Bawudong in the poison mist, then tried to flee through the city gate and found it shut.
  • Fireblade and Bawudong cornered and killed Blood Axe as the battle ended, and Wu Heng raised his corpse as a Skeleton Beast Warrior.
  • Wu Heng sent his team to check on the Iron Guard Knights and persuaded their commander to continue defending the Outer City instead of retreating to the Inner City.
  • Wu Heng confronted Burke about leading gang members toward the city walls, and Burke denied it.
  • Wu Heng shot Burke dead, and Gaulberry drew his sword and challenged him.

Ch. 204You Cover Our Retreat

Wu Heng uncovered Burke’s plan to open the city gates and kill him, then raised the battlefield dead and headed toward the North Gate to support the other defenses. At the North District, Wen Mansha refused an order to sacrifice the Spike Gang as the Warhammer Party overwhelmed the defenders.

  • Wu Heng questioned Burke’s corpse and learned that Lord Momlo had tasked him with opening the gates and killing Wu Heng, while other agents were meant to open gates elsewhere.
  • Wu Heng ordered Burke’s death reported as a battlefield loss so compensation could go to his mother, then took a commander’s token and raised the dead into rotting zombies.
  • Wu Heng sent Duke and Marta to protect their families and headed for the North Gate with Gaulberry to save Wen Mansha.
  • The Warhammer Party broke through the North District defenders as Ixil led the assault and the Iron Guard Knights retreated.
  • The middle-aged commander ordered Wen Mansha to hold the rear as a sacrifice, but she refused, and the other leaders pressured her while their formation pushed the Spike Gang forward.

Ch. 205What Happened to You?

Wu Heng’s Corpse Army intercepted fleeing defenders and rescued Wen Mansha’s Spike Gang from the Warhammer Party, then joined the battle amid poisonous gas. As Skullcrusher Dragisha ordered a siege of the Inner City, the Female Beastman confronted an undead Blood Axe.

  • Wen Mansha was forced to lead the Spike Gang as a rearguard, and the gang was overwhelmed by the Warhammer Party while the other defenders fled.
  • Wu Heng questioned the fleeing defenders, learned the Spike Gang had been abandoned and the Female Beastman Fang led the Warhammer Party, then sent his Corpse Army onward.
  • Wu Heng’s corpses reached Wen Mansha and attacked the Warhammer Party, giving the Spike Gang a chance to retreat as poisonous smoke spread across the battlefield.
  • Skullcrusher Dragisha refused to divide his forces and ordered the Warhammer Party and allied gangs to storm the Inner City.
  • The Female Beastman ordered a retreat as the Corpse Horde’s poisonous explosions worsened the fighting, but undead Blood Axe emerged and she recognized him as Nagzeo.

Ch. 206Getting Involved

Wu Heng defeated the Female Beastman, raised her as Fang, and led his forces toward the Inner City to find his maids. As the Warhammer Party stormed the Inner City, Wu Heng arrived at the North Gate with his undead army, prompting both sides to retreat in fear.

  • Blood Axe and two other undead cornered and killed the Female Beastman as she tried to escape the Poison Gas.
  • Wen Mansha reunited with Wu Heng, treated the Spike Gang's wounded, and sent her surviving members to search the battlefield for valuables.
  • Wu Heng raised the Female Beastman as a level 13 Skeleton Beast Warrior named Fang and gave her the Pulse-Boosting Bracers.
  • Wu Heng turned the battlefield's corpses into nearly ten thousand undead, then set out for the Inner City with Duke and Wen Mansha's surviving followers.
  • The Warhammer Party broke through the Inner City's main gate, while Elno and his officials debated whether to hold the city or flee.
  • Wu Heng's undead army approached the North Gate, causing the two forces outside the city to retreat from the Combat Zone in fear.

Ch. 207Who Offers More

Wu Heng held back his zombie horde while the Iron Guard Knights and Warhammer Party sought his support, then demanded half of Luntam City's jurisdiction in exchange for helping either side. After the representatives left, Wen Mansha favored the current city lord, while Skullcrusher learned that Wu Heng had turned Nagzeo and Ixil into Skeleton Attendants.

  • Wu Heng kept the zombie horde out of the fighting, and representatives from the Iron Guard Knights and Warhammer Party asked to meet him.
  • Wu Heng concealed his identity and heard the city official offer five thousand Gold Coins while the Warhammer Party sorcerer offered him territory in the Outer City.
  • Wu Heng demanded half the city's jurisdiction from whichever side wanted his help, then dismissed both representatives to consult their leaders.
  • Wen Mansha said she preferred the current city lord because the Warhammer Party would likely turn Luntam City into a bandit den, and Wu Heng said he understood.
  • The Warhammer Party sorcerer told Skullcrusher that Wu Heng was a young-looking Necromancer and that Nagzeo and Ixil had become his Skeleton Attendants.

Ch. 208Half a City Lord

Wu Heng chose to defend Luntam City after both sides agreed to give him half the city, then exposed his identity and killed the Warhammer Party warlock who tried to flee. When the city lord recognized Wu Heng’s name, he ordered the city to attack.

  • Skullcrusher agreed to offer Wu Heng half the city if he helped defeat Luntam City, while City Lord Elno also agreed to give him half the city in exchange for defending it.
  • Wu Heng learned through his ghosts that both sides planned to break their promises after the battle, then received representatives from both factions.
  • Wu Heng signed Luntam City’s agreement, trapped the Warhammer Party warlock in a bone cage, and revealed his identity as the association’s Captain Wu Heng.
  • Wu Heng rejected the warlock’s offer to buy his life, shot him as he fled, and ordered the skeletons to kill him.
  • City Lord Elno recognized Wu Heng’s name on the agreement and ordered Luntam City to prepare to attack.

Ch. 209Waiting for Him to Die

Wu Heng joined the battle against the Warhammer Party, where Skullcrusher led an assault to kill him but was killed by Wu Heng’s heavy machine guns. City Lord Elno withdrew the Iron Guard Knights instead of helping finish off the weakened gang, leaving the battle unresolved.

  • Wu Heng collected the dead sorcerer’s blood, went to the Zombie World, and received two Heavy Machine Guns from Li Yahong.
  • Wu Heng sent his rotting corpses into the battle, where their poisonous gas helped the Iron Guard Knights inflict heavy losses on the Warhammer Party.
  • Skullcrusher led the Warhammer Party’s elites through the undead to attack Wu Heng, but Wu Heng’s skeletons and Fireblade slowed him down.
  • Wu Heng escaped Skullcrusher on an electric tricycle and used Granda’s illusion and the heavy machine guns to kill him, reaching level 10.
  • City Lord Elno ordered the Iron Guard Knights to withdraw and defend the city gates rather than join Wu Heng in defeating the Warhammer Party.

Ch. 210You Became City Lord?

Wu Heng defeated the Warhammer Party, raised a vast zombie army, and claimed districts of Luntam City under his agreement with City Lord Elno. After securing the city and checking on the Adventurer's Guild, he visited the Serpent Emblem Conglomerate, where Lecia asked if he had become the city lord.

  • Wu Heng photographed Skullcrusher's corpse, raised him as a Level 16 skeleton, and learned that the Inner City had withdrawn while the Warhammer Party attacked.
  • Wu Heng led his forces in crushing the Warhammer Party, drove the survivors through the city gate, and shut it behind them.
  • Wu Heng raised the battlefield dead into a zombie army, entered the Inner City, and negotiated control of the eastern and northern Outer City districts and the northeastern Inner City.
  • Wu Heng checked on the Adventurer's Guild, ordered its members to resume work and patrol the city, then left Duke and Gaulberry there.
  • Wu Heng visited the Serpent Emblem Conglomerate, reunited with Minnie and Andeviel, and heard Lecia ask whether he had become the city lord.

Ch. 211Half-City Lord

After becoming Half-City Lord, Wu Heng examined his new undead and masteries, then arranged to print flyers crediting him with saving Luntam City. He also spent time with Li Yahong and sent powerful skeletons to the Zombie World, ending the chapter at home after Minnie finished training.

  • Lecia congratulated Wu Heng on gaining half of Luntam City and warned him that Elno might use underhanded tactics to undermine his rule.
  • At home, Wu Heng examined Blood Axe, Fang, and Skullcrusher, then studied the three masteries he had unlocked: Arcane Echo, Necromancy Scholar, and Undead Adaptation.
  • Wu Heng asked Andeviel to write a sensational flyer claiming he had resolved Luntam City's crisis and saved its residents.
  • In the Zombie World, Wu Heng kissed Li Yahong and gave her the flyer to photocopy more than five hundred times for distribution.
  • After dinner, Wu Heng sent Big Guy, the Terror Claw Monster, and other skeletons to the Zombie World, then returned to find Minnie resting after training.

Ch. 212Captain, What Is This?

Wu Heng planned to secure the districts by recruiting a Patrol Guard supported by skeletons, while Wen Mansha took charge of the effort. At the Adventurer's Guild, he brought three skeletons to register the three wanted criminals he had killed, startling the examiners.

  • Minnie told Wu Heng she had arranged to learn writing from Sister Vera so she could help him.
  • Wen Mansha reported that battlefield spoils had been gathered and the districts' walls occupied, but there were too few people to secure them.
  • Wu Heng ordered the Spike Gang to recruit and form a Patrol Team, proposing that Skeleton Attendants patrol alongside selected gang members.
  • Wu Heng asked Wen Mansha to prepare for a Town Hall separate from the city lord's side and invited her to move back into his residence.
  • Wen Mansha left with a thousand skeletons in leather armor to organize patrols, while Wu Heng went to the Adventurer's Guild to register three wanted criminals he had killed.
  • The guild examiners recoiled when Wu Heng's three companions removed their Motorcycle Helmets and revealed their skeleton faces.

Ch. 213The Evil Necromancer

Wu Heng reported the Warhammer Party’s undead remains to the Association, then toured his newly acquired districts and stopped an attempt to stir up resistance against his rule. After ordering the captured agitators killed and raising them as patrol undead, he returned home and went through the Portal to the Zombie World.

  • Wu Heng showed the examiners the undead remains of Blood Axe, Fang, and Skullcrusher, and they recorded his evidence pending the deacon’s confirmation.
  • Wu Heng told Gaulberry to deliver Burke’s compensation to his family and assured his team he would continue working with the Association.
  • Wu Heng toured the damaged Outer City with his team, where a speaker accused him of threatening residents and urged them to resist his rule.
  • Wu Heng ordered Spike Gang patrol members to arrest the speaker and send him to Wen Mansha.
  • Wu Heng found seven people spreading the same message, ordered them killed, and used Bone Manipulation Technique to raise their corpses for patrol duty.
  • Wu Heng returned to his residence and traveled through the Portal to the Zombie World, where Li Yahong showed him over two thousand freshly copied papers.

Ch. 214Necromancer Repels the Warhammer Party

Wu Heng established a Bus Station base, gave Li Yahong a Strength Enhancement Potion, and prepared flyers to counter rumors about the Warhammer Party's defeat. As Wen Mansha distributed the flyers and Wu Heng investigated the mysterious Lord Momlo, a propagandist stirred up anger against him in the East District.

  • Li Yahong drank a Strength Enhancement Potion and felt stronger and younger, then told Wu Heng that the remodeled buses were ready for supply runs.
  • Wu Heng and Li Yahong reclaimed the Bus Station, set it up as a base, and moved daily necessities there.
  • Wu Heng told Wen Mansha to distribute flyers describing the Warhammer Party's defeat and his capture of Wanted Criminals to counter Elno's rumors.
  • Gaulberry told Wu Heng that he could find no Inner City noble named Lord Momlo, and Wu Heng asked him to check the Town Hall for clues.
  • A gray-clad man denounced Wu Heng in the East District, but another person arrived shouting that association intelligence revealed what had really happened to the Warhammer Party.

Ch. 215Solar Panels

Wu Heng countered Lord Elno’s propaganda with flyers that exposed the Iron Guard Knights’ retreat, prompting the lord to seek mediation. In the Zombie World, Wu Heng welcomed the returned convoy and learned that Flame God Shelter was organizing an attack on a solar panel factory.

  • Wen Mansha’s people distributed flyers crediting Wu Heng with defeating the Warhammer Party and criticizing the Iron Guard Knights, while Elno ordered his own propaganda halted and sought mediation.
  • Wu Heng patrolled the East and North Districts, told Duke the city was safe from the Warhammer Party, and allowed Glask’s group to prepare to return.
  • Wen Mansha told Wu Heng that the Lord’s Mansion blamed a gang for the rumors and wanted the flyers stopped, but Wu Heng refused to halt their distribution.
  • Wu Heng saw the convoy return to the Zombie World with five reinforced buses, and Li Yahong said she would arrange lodging for the survivors.
  • Li Yahong told Wu Heng that Flame God Shelter was gathering survivors to attack a solar panel factory and secure electricity for the shelters.

Ch. 216Weakened Amplification

Wu Heng used the remaining Rank One Corpse Core Potions to strengthen Wen Mansha, Minnie, and Andeviel, while he investigated shelter plans and arranged for more intelligence gathering. Li Yahong reported that Flame God Shelter and its allies would gather at the solar panel factory tomorrow.

  • Wu Heng drank two potions and found that each now increased an attribute by only one point, so he saved the remaining three for his companions.
  • Wen Mansha reported that the negative rumors had stopped, and Wu Heng ordered her to watch Elno, investigate Lord Momlo, and monitor Burke's family.
  • Wu Heng gave Wen Mansha, Minnie, and Andeviel a potion each; Minnie suffered a brief painful reaction before feeling stronger.
  • Wu Heng returned through the Portal to the Zombie World and asked Li Yahong about Flame God Shelter's plans.
  • Li Yahong told Wu Heng that Flame God Shelter had united with other shelters and would gather at the factory the next day.

Ch. 217Such Strong Influence

Wu Heng and Li Yahong joined an expedition organized by the Flame God Shelter to restore electricity, while Wu Heng began training Li Yahong to defend herself. When their convoy reached the factory, the gathered shelter leaders were struggling to plan around a Level 2 Commander Zombie, and they learned that Wu Heng’s military trucks had arrived.

  • Li Yahong explained that the Central Broadcast Station had appointed Flame God Shelter’s Ma Zhiyong as Disaster Resistance Commander and organized an expedition to restore electricity.
  • Wu Heng agreed to join the expedition to explore solar power, then taught Li Yahong physical training and spent the night with her.
  • The next day, Li Yahong drove the convoy toward the factory while Wu Heng sent Xiaoxiao ahead to scout after they spotted survivors and vehicles.
  • Ma Zhiyong and representatives from several shelters discussed how to enter the factory, but the Level 2 Commander Zombie and the Zombie Horde left them without a safe plan.
  • People entered the cement building and told Ma Zhiyong that a convoy of military trucks had arrived.

Ch. 218Why Did They Leave?

Wu Heng’s convoy avoided the shelters gathered at a driving school and reached the Wanyang Transportation Group industrial park to inspect it for an attack. Xiaoxiao spotted two Mutated Zombies inside, and the Big-Headed Zombie seemed to sense her presence.

  • Ma Zhiyong and the shelter leaders saw Wu Heng’s convoy turn away from the driving school and sent two people after it.
  • Wu Heng told Li Yahong that the group at the training ground was too small to support, so the convoy would wait for them to leave before attacking the industrial park.
  • The two pursuers reported that they had seen armored skeletons with glowing blue eyes beneath a truck’s tarp, prompting the leaders to suspect the convoy came from the auto repair shop.
  • After the driving school emptied, Wu Heng’s convoy returned and headed to the Wanyang Transportation Group industrial park.
  • Wu Heng sent Xiaoxiao to scout the factory, where she found a Terror Claw Monster and a Big-Headed Zombie that turned toward her before she fled.

Ch. 219Level Three Big-Headed Zombie

Wu Heng led the Skeleton Army to clear the factory complex and hunted down the Level Three Big-Headed Zombie. The Big-Headed Zombie and its Crawling Mutant Zombie tried to escape across the office building, but Wu Heng’s forces brought them down and killed them.

  • Wu Heng identified the Big-Headed Zombie as a likely Level Three Mutated Zombie and ordered the convoy to stay behind while the Skeleton Army advanced on the factory.
  • Wu Heng used spears, Grease Spell, and Fireball Spell to break the Zombie Horde’s charge, then led the Skeletons in clearing the factory grounds.
  • Xiaoxiao spotted Zombies attempting to flank the Skeleton Army, and Wu Heng sent a squad to crush them.
  • After nightfall, the Big-Headed Zombie escaped the office building on the back of a Crawling Mutant Zombie, but Hunter One, Wu Heng, and three Skeleton Terror Claw Monsters stopped them.
  • Skullcrusher smashed the Crawling Mutant Zombie’s head, and Blood Axe killed the Big-Headed Zombie.

Ch. 220The Steward Has Returned

Wu Heng and his allies cleared the factory, recovered Level 2 and Level 3 Corpse Cores, and claimed a huge stock of solar equipment. After arranging for skeletons to learn installation work and sending Li Yahong’s convoy to the Bus Station with supplies, Wu Heng returned to the association and learned that Gomez had come back.

  • Wu Heng raised the two Mutated Zombies as Skeleton Terror Claw Monster and Skeleton Spirit Demon, recovered their Corpse Cores, and named the latter Big Head Commander One.
  • Wu Heng animated the factory’s remaining corpses, then Li Yahong brought the convoy inside to spend the night behind the factory gates.
  • The next morning, Wu Heng and Li Yahong found warehouses full of Solar Panels, electrical equipment, and streetlight poles, and Wu Heng assigned Wang Chenggang to teach ten skeletons how to install and identify the equipment.
  • Li Yahong loaded solar equipment for the county Bus Station and led the convoy away, while Wu Heng stayed behind to secure the factory.
  • Wu Heng returned home and then went to the association, where Marta told him Gomez had returned the previous afternoon.

Ch. 221Let the Sun Hang in the Sky

Wu Heng reported the Warhammer Party’s defeat to Deacon Gomez and secured credit for Team 12, then visited Lecia to discuss information, a map of Luntam City, and extending shop hours. Back home, he showed Wen Mansha the map and asked her to arrange Deep Pits and upright metal pipes along two main streets.

  • Wu Heng told Deacon Gomez how he defeated the Warhammer Party, and Gomez confirmed the Orc Skeletons’ identities and assigned the team’s merits to Team 12.
  • Gomez offered to recommend Wu Heng for Level 2 Merit and a possible Vice Deacon promotion, while Wu Heng told his team to collect compensation for Burke’s family.
  • Wu Heng asked Lecia about Skill Books and Lord Momlo, then photographed a map of Luntam City and discussed keeping shops open longer.
  • Wu Heng returned home, listened to Minnie and Andeviel talk about the shops reopening, and spent the evening with his household.
  • Wu Heng showed Wen Mansha the map and asked her to have people dig Deep Pits and set metal pipes upright along two main streets.
