Ch. 161Titan Giant Ape Attack

A Titan Giant Ape appeared before the students, forcing Zhao Wuji and Chao Tianxiang to set aside their hostility and defend the group. As they attacked, Dai Mubai, Ning Rongrong, and Tang San chose to stay and fight, while Qian Bing prepared to protect the others.

  • A Titan Giant Ape emerged from the trees, and Qian Bing and Xiao Wu identified it as the King of the Forest.
  • Zhao Wuji and Chao Tianxiang stood together to face the beast, while Chao Tianxiang urged Meng Yiran to escape with the Shrek students.
  • Zhao Wuji unleashed four soul skills and attacked as Chao Tianxiang used her Serpent Cane to restrain the Titan Giant Ape.
  • Zhao Wuji ordered the students to flee, but Dai Mubai charged into battle and Qian Bing prepared to pull him back with Psychic Power.
  • Ning Rongrong stayed to support the fighters and enhanced Zhao Wuji, Chao Tianxiang, and Dai Mubai with her Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda.
  • Tang San spread his Blue Silver Grass toward the Titan Giant Ape as the other students refused to retreat.

Ch. 162Xiao Wu Captured

The group attacked the Titan Giant Ape, but its counterattack scattered them and left Xiao Wu captured in its grasp. Tang San and Zhao Wuji launched desperate attacks as the chapter ended.

  • Zhu Zhuqing, Ma Hongjun, Tang San, and Zhao Wuji attacked the Titan Giant Ape while Xiao Wu watched from a tree.
  • The Titan Giant Ape blasted Zhao Wuji aside and pounced on the group, forcing everyone to flee.
  • Tang San saved Xiao Wu and Ma Hongjun, while Qian Bing pulled Oscar, Ning Rongrong, Xu Lei, and Meng Yiran out of danger.
  • Chao Tianxiang restrained the Titan Giant Ape long enough for Qian Bing to catch Meng Yiran, but the beast broke free and its landing knocked Ning Rongrong unconscious.
  • The Titan Giant Ape caught Xiao Wu in its paw, and Tang San fired hidden weapons at it as Zhao Wuji unleashed his seventh soul ring.

Ch. 163How Long Are You Going to Sit on Me?

The Titan Giant Ape abducted Xiao Wu after overpowering Zhao Wuji and Tang San, and Tang San flew after it with Qian Bing’s hidden weapons and Ning Rongrong’s support. Zhao Wuji prepared the others to follow, while Qian Bing remained on top of Meng Yiran.

  • Zhao Wuji used his Martial Soul Avatar to attack the Titan Giant Ape, but it knocked him back and sent Tang San crashing into a tree.
  • The Titan Giant Ape carried Xiao Wu away, and Zhao Wuji abandoned the chase because he could not catch it and had students to protect.
  • Tang San ate Oscar’s sausages and flew after Xiao Wu; Qian Bing gave him Twenty-Four Bridges Moonlight Night, and Ning Rongrong boosted his speed.
  • Zhao Wuji ordered Oscar to make Mushroom Sausages so the group could pursue Tang San together, and the others agreed to go.
  • Meng Yiran asked Qian Bing how much longer he was going to sit on her, drawing everyone’s attention to their awkward position.

Ch. 164Lost

After Chao Tianxiang injured Qian Bing and left with Meng Yiran, Zhao Wuji led the others to search for Xiao Wu while Oscar stayed to care for Qian Bing. Once Qian Bing recovered enough to follow, he and Oscar lost the trail in the dark and found a small cave to shelter in.

  • Chao Tianxiang struck Qian Bing with her Serpent Cane, then took Meng Yiran into the forest after declaring their score settled.
  • Zhao Wuji ordered Oscar to stay with the injured Qian Bing and took the others to pursue Tang San and search for Xiao Wu.
  • Oscar gave Qian Bing a Big Sausage, and Qian Bing recovered for about fifteen minutes before deciding to follow the others with Oscar.
  • Qian Bing and Oscar followed traces of the Titan Giant Ape but lost their way as night fell.
  • Qian Bing stopped their search and told Oscar they needed a safe place to spend the night.
  • Oscar found a small cave beneath a low earthen slope.

Ch. 165Three-Thousand-Year Evil Eye

Qian Bing rescued Oscar from an attack by a soul beast hiding in an Earth Cave, then decided to drive it out so they could use the cave for shelter. He identified the creature as a three-thousand-year-old Evil Eye as it emerged from the cave.

  • Oscar rushed toward the Earth Cave, but a black beam shot out and Qian Bing shoved him aside just in time.
  • Qian Bing explained the danger of entering caves without checking them and decided they should take the cave rather than travel through the dark forest.
  • Qian Bing summoned Dragonite, Ditto, and Miltank, told Oscar to stay beside Miltank, and ordered Ditto to use Flamethrower while Dragonite attacked the cave with Dragon Rage.
  • Ditto’s flames collided with a powerful black beam from inside the cave, illuminating an unusual tentacled soul beast as it crawled out.
  • Qian Bing used his Soul Power to identify the creature as a three-thousand-year-old Evil Eye with Annihilation Black Light and Mental Impact.

Ch. 166Dual Spirits, Five Soul Rings

Qian Bing and Oscar faced the Evil Eye, whose Mental Impact overwhelmed them after Dragonite’s Dragon Rage weakened it. As Oscar lay motionless, Qian Bing’s left palm turned scorching hot and two additional soul rings appeared, leaving him with five rings.

  • Dragonite struck the Evil Eye with Dragon Rage, sharply reducing its life force despite the attack showing no visible effect.
  • The enraged Evil Eye unleashed a powerful Mental Impact that caused Qian Bing, Oscar, and Miltank intense pain and terrifying illusions.
  • Qian Bing recovered enough to see Oscar lying motionless and gathered his Mental Power to resist the Evil Eye.
  • Qian Bing’s left palm grew hot, and two soul rings appeared beneath him alongside the three rings of his Spirit Ball Spirit.

Ch. 167The Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit's Second Soul Ring Skill

Qian Bing's Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit activated alongside his Spirit Ball Spirit, helping him withstand the Evil Eye's Mental Impact and awaken its second Soul Ring Skill, Psychic. After Espeon's phantom disrupted the Evil Eye, Qian Bing counterattacked with Psybeam.

  • The Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit activated on its own, and Qian Bing used its Silver Soul Ring to form a mental defense against the Evil Eye's Mental Impact.
  • Qian Bing absorbed the second Purple Soul Ring, gained the Psychic skill and an Espeon phantom, and discovered the skill boosted his Mental Power and could let him foresee the near future.
  • Espeon's phantom struck the Evil Eye with a mental attack, ending its Mental Impact.
  • Qian Bing's appearance changed as he unleashed Psybeam, forming a rain of silver Mental Power arrows aimed at the Evil Eye.

Ch. 168Destroying the Evil Eye, Black Mist Appears

Qian Bing and his spirits overwhelmed the Evil Eye with Silver Arrows, Blast Burn, and Thunder until it died. Its remains separated into a purple Soul Ring and a mass that settled on the ground.

  • The phantom Espeon used Illusion Technique to hold back the Evil Eye’s Annihilation Black Light while Qian Bing’s Silver Arrows riddled the creature with holes.
  • The Evil Eye prepared another attack, but Dragonite and Ditto struck with Thunder and Blast Burn as Qian Bing’s thundercloud followed it.
  • Qian Bing’s Thunder extinguished the Evil Eye’s Annihilation Black Light and burned its shrinking body until it dissipated.
  • The Evil Eye’s black mist split into two masses, one forming a purple Soul Ring and the other settling on the ground.

Ch. 169Soul Bone Appears, a Huge Haul

After defeating Evil Eye, Qian Bing discovered that it had left behind a rare skull soul bone that perfectly matched his Mental Illustrated Handbook Spirit. He stored the soul bone and took the unconscious Oscar to Evil Eye’s cave to rest while waiting for him to wake.

  • Qian Bing stored Evil Eye’s three-thousand-year soul ring in his Spirit Ball Spirit, though he regretted that his spirit prevented him from absorbing it.
  • Qian Bing searched the black mist and pulled out a translucent black skull soul bone, then realized Evil Eye had produced a rare soul bone.
  • Qian Bing examined the soul bone and recognized that its psychic nature would greatly enhance the Mental Power of a compatible Soul Master.
  • Qian Bing tucked the soul bone inside his clothes and checked Oscar, finding him unconscious but breathing normally.
  • Qian Bing carried Oscar to Evil Eye’s cave to rest until he woke and could decide what to do next.

Ch. 170Absorbing the Soul Bone

Qian Bing began absorbing the Evil Eye's head soul bone in the Earth Cave, enduring its freezing energy with help from the Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit. As the bone's overwhelming Mental Power flooded his mind, he opened his transformed eyes and rushed out of the cave, unleashing destructive rays that pulverized the rocks in his way.

  • Qian Bing confirmed the Earth Cave was safe, brought Oscar inside, and had Dragonite guard the entrance.
  • Qian Bing began absorbing the soul bone, whose frigid energy surged through his body and wrapped around his skull.
  • The Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit sent a gentler current through Qian Bing's left palm, helping him endure the soul bone's pain.
  • The soul bone flooded Qian Bing's mind with Mental Power, threatening to overwhelm him and drive him mad or turn him into an idiot.
  • Qian Bing's eyes turned pitch-black, and he rushed out after telling Dragonite to move.
  • Two black rays shot from Qian Bing's eyes and silently reduced the rocks blocking the entrance to powder.

Ch. 171Soul Ring, Soul Bone Fusion Skill (Part 1)

Qian Bing survived the Evil Eye Soul Bone’s flood of Mental Power with help from the Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit, discovering the soul bone’s abilities and the major boost it gave his Mental Power. The Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit then changed his Silver Soul Ring, leaving Qian Bing unsure what it was doing.

  • Qian Bing rushed out of the Earth Cave and fired Annihilation Black Light while the frigid current threatened to overwhelm his sea of consciousness.
  • Qian Bing activated a new soul bone skill that created a faint silver domain one hundred meters across.
  • The Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit diverted much of the frigid current into itself, easing the pressure on Qian Bing’s sea of consciousness.
  • Qian Bing stopped using the new skill and found that his Mental Power had increased by more than thirty percent, with his sea of consciousness still expanding.
  • The Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit emerged from Qian Bing’s palm, and his Silver Soul Ring became solid and brightly silver before his head began to glow.

Ch. 172Soul Ring, Soul Bone Fusion Skill (Part 2)

Qian Bing discovered that the Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit’s soul ring and soul bone had fused to create a separate space, which he connected to Xiao Bing Farm. He learned he could pull things into the space, and the chapter ended as a tiger-like soul beast landed in the pond and confronted him.

  • The Spirit Illustrated Handbook Spirit fused the Silver Soul Ring and soul bone skills, creating a vast silver space that Qian Bing could survey with his consciousness.
  • Qian Bing answered the space’s summons by bringing Xiao Bing Farm into it, where he reunited with Venusaur and found it was physically real.
  • A tiger-like soul beast approached the Earth Cave, apparently unable to see Qian Bing, and began crawling inside toward the unconscious Oscar.
  • Qian Bing’s Mental Power pulled the tiger-like soul beast into the new space, where it fell into the farm pond, climbed out, and growled at him and Venusaur.

Ch. 173Soul Rings, Soul Bone Fusion Skill (Part 2)

Qian Bing tested Venusaur against a five-thousand-year Mountain-Sitting Tiger inside Domain Space, where Venusaur wounded it but struggled to restrain it. After using Annihilation Black Light to injure the tiger, Qian Bing brought out Dragonite and Ditto to join the fight.

  • Qian Bing identified the tiger-shaped Soul Beast as a five-thousand-year Mountain-Sitting Tiger and ordered Venusaur to fight it.
  • Venusaur struck the Mountain-Sitting Tiger with Razor Leaf, interrupting its Tiger Pounce and injuring its underbelly.
  • Venusaur tried to bind the tiger with Vine Whips while charging Solar Beam, but the tiger's Soul Power withered the vines.
  • Qian Bing hit the Mountain-Sitting Tiger with Annihilation Black Light, which wounded it before its Soul Power stopped the spread.
  • Qian Bing summoned Dragonite and Ditto to close in on the Mountain-Sitting Tiger.

Ch. 174Destroying the Mountain-Sitting Tiger, Soul Power Upgrade

Qian Bing and his Pokémon defeated the Mountain-Sitting Tiger inside the Pokémon World domain, and absorbing its Soul Ring raised his Soul Power from Level 35 to Level 36. The domain then collapsed after draining all of his Mental Power, leaving him back at the Earth Cave with only a fraction of his Soul Power remaining.

  • Ditto paralyzed the Mountain-Sitting Tiger with Thunder Wave, disrupting its Soul Power and preventing it from using its strongest Soul Skill.
  • Dragonite knocked the Mountain-Sitting Tiger away with Dragon Tail and froze it with Ice Beam while Venusaur charged Solar Beam.
  • Venusaur pierced the Mountain-Sitting Tiger's chest with Solar Beam, killing it, and Qian Bing stored its Soul Ring.
  • Qian Bing absorbed a surge of Soul Power from the Soul Ring and advanced from Level 35 to Level 36.
  • The domain faded when Qian Bing exhausted his Mental Power, returning him and his Pokémon to the Earth Cave with only twenty to thirty percent of his Soul Power left.

Ch. 175Great Destruction Annihilation Skull

Qian Bing recovered in the Earth Cave and assessed the Great Destruction Annihilation Mental Skull’s abilities while Oscar remained unconscious. After Oscar woke, the two decided to leave the Star Dou Great Forest and report the others’ disappearance to the academy.

  • Qian Bing recovered much of his Soul Power, named his new skull soul bone the Great Destruction Annihilation Mental Skull, and identified its Annihilation Black Light and Telekinetic Inspiration skills.
  • Qian Bing noted that Mewtwo’s soul ring had become more solid but had not yet granted him a soul skill.
  • Oscar woke in the dark Earth Cave, mistook it for the afterlife, and realized he was alive when Qian Bing spoke and Dragonite let in the sunlight.
  • Qian Bing and Oscar found no traces of Zhao Wuji or the Titan Giant Ape, and Oscar argued that they should not venture farther into the dangerous forest.
  • Qian Bing agreed with Oscar and decided they should return to the academy to report what had happened.

Ch. 176Return to the Academy

Qian Bing and Oscar returned safely to Shrek Academy after surviving the Star Dou Great Forest, where Qian Bing obtained a spirit bone. Tang San later returned Twenty-Four Bridges Moonlight Night to Qian Bing and explained that its hidden weapons had helped him survive his encounter with the Man Faced Demon Spider.

  • Qian Bing and Oscar left the Star Dou Great Forest on Dragonite and returned to Shrek Academy, where Dai Mubai and Tang San greeted them with relief.
  • Oscar recounted how a powerful mental-type spirit beast had nearly killed him, and revealed that Qian Bing had obtained a spirit bone.
  • Tang San told Qian Bing that Xiao Wu had returned safely, absorbed a spirit ring, and become a Soul Elder alongside him.
  • Qian Bing and Oscar reported their experiences to Flander and the others, while Qian Bing kept Pokémon Domain secret.
  • Tang San brought Qian Bing to his dormitory and returned Twenty-Four Bridges Moonlight Night, explaining that its hidden weapons had helped him survive the Man Faced Demon Spider.

Ch. 177Tang San's Third Soul Skill

Tang San tested how absorbing the Man Faced Demon Spider's Soul Ring had changed his Blue Silver Grass and demonstrated his new Third Soul Skill, Spider Web Restraint. Qian Bing judged the skill powerful enough to restrain most opponents near Tang San's level, though it consumed about a third of his Soul Power.

  • Tang San told Qian Bing that he had gained a Thousand-Year Soul Ring and suspected he had absorbed a soul bone as well.
  • Qian Bing and Tang San secretly went to a nearby grove to examine Tang San's changed Blue Silver Grass.
  • Tang San showed that his Blue Silver Grass had become tougher and gained a corrosive poison that released toxic mist.
  • Tang San used Spider Web Restraint to cast a large, adhesive net made of thorn-covered Blue Silver Grass.
  • Tang San explained the skill's properties and Soul Power cost, and Qian Bing praised its strength and usefulness.

Ch. 178External Soul Bone, Eight Spider Lances

Qian Bing explained Blue Silver Grass’s vulnerability to fire and examined Tang San’s newly emerged spider legs, identifying them as a powerful External Soul Bone. Tang San returned to Shrek Academy determined to train with the bone and keep it secret.

  • Qian Bing demonstrated that fire could damage Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass web and advised him to rely on teammates and strengthen his main Martial Soul rather than add unsuitable Soul Rings.
  • Qian Bing explained why Tang San should wait to add Soul Rings to his Clear Sky Hammer until he could absorb stronger ones.
  • Tang San revealed the eight spider legs on his back, and Qian Bing recognized them as an External Soul Bone inherited from the Man Faced Demon Spider.
  • Tang San pierced a large tree with a spider leg, and its deadly purple poison dissolved the tree and nearby vegetation into dust.
  • Qian Bing explained the External Soul Bone’s poison, combat potential, and likely mobility benefits, then urged Tang San to master it and keep its nature secret.
  • Tang San asked Qian Bing to devise a training plan, and the two returned to Shrek Academy.

Ch. 179Full-Scale Training for the Farm's Pokemon

After returning to the Pokémon World, Qian Bing learned that the farm was unaffected by his new Pokémon Domain, but the Y-Type Potential Breakthrough Incubation Fluid remained far from ready. He ordered Zhong Ren to train every Pokémon on the farm, hoping to strengthen the creatures that his Domain could project into Douluo Continent.

  • Qian Bing returned to the Pokémon World and asked Zhong Ren whether the Pokémon Domain had caused any changes at the farm; Zhong Ren reported nothing unusual.
  • Qian Bing asked about the Y-Type Potential Breakthrough Incubation Fluid, but Zhong Ren said two main ingredients were still missing and he would need practice before he could prepare it.
  • Qian Bing told Zhong Ren to spend freely on training every Pokémon at the farm as he prepared for the Pokémon League Conference and a challenge against Yinmo Gym.
  • Zhong Ren questioned the plan, but Qian Bing explained that the farm's Pokémon were his companions and could help protect the farm.
  • Qian Bing privately decided to train the farm's Pokémon because his Pokémon Domain could project them into Douluo Continent and let them fight alongside him.

Ch. 180Yu Xiaogang Arrives

Qian Bing arranged for Zhong Ren to recruit assistants to train the farm’s Pokémon, then returned to Douluo Continent as Yu Xiaogang joined Monster Academy. The chapter ended with Yu Xiaogang assigning the students numbers and announcing that unified instruction would begin the next day.

  • Qian Bing persuaded Zhong Ren to recruit Apprentice Breeders to help raise and train the farm’s Pokémon.
  • Qian Bing returned to Douluo Continent the next morning and joined the students on the academy’s training field.
  • Flander introduced Li Yusong, Lu Qibin, Shao Xin, and Yu Xiaogang to the students.
  • Flander announced that Yu Xiaogang would lead their instruction and gave the students a day off before classes resumed.
  • Yu Xiaogang said he would treat the students equally, assigned them numbers by age, and warned them to gather the next morning or face special training.
