Under the referee's guidance, both sides ascended the competition stage, formed their respective lines, and exchanged the customary pre-match courtesies.
On Blazing Academy's side, team captain Huo Wushuang stood at the front. Beside him stood Huo Wu, whose pretty features were paired with a gaze as fiery and forceful as a flame.
Behind them stood five team members: a Level Thirty-Eight Assault System Spirit Master whose Martial Soul was Fire Leopard; a pair of Level Thirty-Nine twin brothers, Huo Yun and Huo Yu, whose Martial Souls were both Fire Crane; and two level thirty-six Support System Spirit Masters whose Martial Souls were Fire Star.
The seven stood together, their blazing Soul Power fluctuations merging into one. Even the air warped slightly from the intense heat.
Opposite them, the "Makeshift Team" had only four members.
Dugu Yan stood at the front. Her dark green tight-fitting outfit outlined her fiery figure, and her languid eyes held a trace of eager excitement.
Beside her stood Jiang Lingxi, a peerlessly beautiful woman with golden hair and crimson eyes. She stood with her legs at a thirty-seven-degree angle, her hands crossed over her chest.
A little farther back, Lan Xi wore a long water-blue dress and possessed a gentle, tranquil air. Ye Lingling stood quietly at the rear, like an orchid in a secluded valley untouched by worldly dust.
After both sides completed their salutations, the customary pre-match "exchange" naturally followed.
