After finishing that, Lin Xuan inserted his fingers between the rabbit skin and flesh, cut through the fat connecting them, then used his fingers to separate the skin from the meat before peeling it downward.

When he had pulled it halfway, he used the dagger to cut off the leg bones along with the skin.
After the front legs were peeled out, he could simply grab the skin and pull it downward. It came off easily all the way to the rabbit's rump, where he cut off the tail.
By then, the rabbit skin was nearly completely removed. The remaining hind legs were handled just like the front legs—once only the bones remained, he simply cut them off.
A complete rabbit skin had been peeled off.
