I Just Discovered Something Huge

The Hilichurl was taken aback when it saw Lumine duck beneath the cover.

Seizing the moment while it was stunned, Lumine raised her head again and rushed in to kill the Hilichurl at point-blank range.

In an instant, that Hilichurl vanished in a flash of white light, just like its companion.

After taking down that Hilichurl, Lumine pressed her advantage and charged out from behind the cover, raising her gun to trade fire head-on with the remaining Hilichurls and the Dark Shell.

Unfortunately, after firing only a few shots, Lumine discovered that her magazine was empty.

Fortunately, those few bullets had frightened the Hilichurls into ducking behind their cover, too afraid to show their heads. The Dark Shell, meanwhile, had likely been staggered by Lumine's shots. Coupled with the nature of the gun in its hands, it was unable to fire continuously.

That gave Lumine a chance to react. Upon realizing her magazine was empty, she rushed toward another piece of cover.

The instant she ducked behind it, the Hilichurls snapped out of it and raised their guns to fire again.

The Dark Shell took the opportunity to pat at its armor, which had been ignited by the bullets.

Unfortunately, it was useless. No matter how it patted itself down, the Pyro Element continued to cling to its body.

Lumine replaced her magazine with a purple one behind the wall, then poked her head out again and fired at the Hilichurls.

But these bullets were completely different from the ones before.

The purple bullets infused with the Electro Element struck the Dark Shell precisely, instantly triggering an Overloaded Elemental Reaction and causing a massive explosion.
