Battle was on the verge of breaking out.
A wide-area attack carrying an immensely powerful magnetic field erupted from the Neutron Star, rapidly expanding outward like an inflating balloon.
The Divine Matrix Civilization had given this attack a mighty, domineering name: Starry Sky Magnetic Storm.
When wielded by a Neutron Star, the magnetic storm was powerful enough to magnetize an entire planet in an instant. It was a byproduct of the Divine Matrix Civilization's development of the Neutron War Star, born from the characteristics of neutron magnetars.
Its power was enormous, yet it was merely one of the Neutron War Star's attack methods.
Knowing that the Electron Warship was an electron, the Divine Matrix Civilization believed magnetic-field attacks would be the most effective, so it opened with an attack related to magnetic fields.
However, magnetic-field technology was not the Divine Matrix Civilization's Characteristic Technology. This attack primarily relied on the Neutron Star's own characteristics. Naturally, magnetic storms in nature could never achieve such intensity or effects.
The expanding magnetic field was like a sharp blade, sweeping toward the hazy Electron Warship.
Yet the Electron Warship, which had dominated the Galaxy for tens of millions of years, was no pushover. Its body, hundreds of times larger than the Neutron Star, merely flickered once and bypassed the expanding magnetic storm by swapping positions.
An attack capable of destroying countless warships was evaded so easily. Naturally, the Neutron Star's subsequent collision was also avoided in the same manner.
"Hmph!"
After missing with its attack, the Neutron War Star broadcast a contemptuous message from within. It seemed to be saying that the Electron Warship was nothing special, capable only of dodging and too afraid to clash head-on.
The Neutron War Star was now within four light-years of the Electron Warship, yet the Divine Matrix
