Midway Galaxy, also called the Midway Star System, was an extremely large star system, with a diameter between that of the Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy.

This was the preliminary survey result from the Great Voyage Organization, but as galactic imaging analysis progressed, astronomers from the various civilizations found that it did not seem to be the case. The structure of this star system did not seem all that natural.

In other words, the Midway Star System must have undergone a major upheaval before the Great Voyage Organization arrived—millions, or perhaps hundreds of millions, of years ago.

As for what kind of upheaval it had been...

Through observation and analysis of the entire star system, many civilizations reached the same conclusion: the Midway Star System had undergone one or more mergers many years ago. Its central black hole was the product of black hole mergers, and its current scale might be the result of those galactic mergers.

The theory of black hole mergers matched perfectly with the faint Gravitational Wave event that the Great Voyage Organization had detected through the Divine Matrix Civilization long ago.

Fact and speculation aligned, so everyone believed it to be true. A merger event really had occurred in the Midway Star System's history.

But many civilizations believed that it was not the result of natural black hole mergers, and that there had been artificial factors from a war involved. Judging from the observational results, this star system's rotation differed greatly from that of a normal star system. It seemed to have evolved over a long period of time after a large region of stars had truly gone missing.

After the civilizations of the Great Voyage Organization collected and analyzed interstellar matter, they found that this theory was basically valid, because among the interstellar
