This was a sparse stellar region of the Houqi Galaxy, where the average distance between stars reached twenty-one light-years. Before it was detected, the unknown warship that had appeared on the Tachyon Radar had just so happened to be behind one of those stars.

The tachyon scan had been blocked by the star, so the Pudolad had failed to discover it immediately.

"Oh, let me see what this is. A warship? Is this your backup plan? Or an ambush? Looks like you're at the end of your rope!"

In the video window, a Pudolad didn't take it seriously at all. He even had time to keep launching a verbal barrage at the Silver Heart Civilization.

Of course, he had considered that it might be the Silver Heart Civilization's fallback, but he paid it no mind, because they did not believe the Silver Heart Civilization had any trump card more powerful than the Star River.
