The ones capable of shouting into the minds of a vast crowd of living beings from far across the starry sky were undoubtedly the Awakener Civilization. They truly could not bear to watch the Four-Armed Snakes sink deeper into it.
The Awakeners' shout was like a blazing sun rising out of gloom; in an instant, boundless rays of rosy light tore through the distortion and darkness.
The Four-Armed Snakes woke one after another as if jolting out of a nightmare. They felt exhausted—not physically exhausted, but mentally drained.
When that fatigue fed back into the body, it manifested as cold sweat, gasping, and difficulty breathing—of course, those were only the symptoms in ordinary humans. In the Four-Armed Snakes, it showed as lowered body temperature, stiff snake-waists, unnatural tail movements, and limp tails while crawling.
"Thank you, great Awakeners!" Once the leader of the Four-Armed Snake Civilization came back to his senses, he thanked the Awakeners over the communication channel.
But just as the words left his mouth, he discovered that several top scientists beside him were looking toward the Dream Lyra again. He quickly stretched out his four arms, grabbed one of the scientists, and shook him violently. The tremendous force shook the Four-Armed Snake scientist so hard that his tail whipped into something like a crank handle, flailing wildly in the air.
"Hoo... Your Excellency, what happened?" The scientist, his eyes clear again, looked at the leader gripping his slender snake-waist and seemed rather puzzled.
"Didn't I tell you not to look anymore?" The leader's pupils constricted slightly, his face full of disbelief. Under normal circumstances, these scientists would not act recklessly. That could only mean something was attracting them.
Sure enough, in the next moment, the Four-Armed Snake scientist tilted his head and said, "Mm... strange. I didn't
