"Commander Yue, certain physical parameters in this region of the Void have been altered. It has directly caused a change in spatial topological invariants, and the Dream Lyra is being affected by these alien rules!"
The Dream Lyra had only just completed its second consecutive warp when the Science Officer's report rang out in Yue Yuan's mind. The information was transmitted into his mind through the Third-Person Piloting System; there was no need to speak aloud.
"Hmph. So that Unknown Civilization's strike amounts to nothing more than this. Keep tracking their flagship. I'd like to see where it thinks it can run!" Yue Yuan replied through the system as well.
The physical rules of the environment had been altered, so it would naturally affect the Dream Lyra, especially with such a targeted modification. After all, the Dream Lyra was within the environment of the Great Universe.
Topological invariants were identical intrinsic properties shared between two isomorphic topological spaces, and a Calabi-Yau manifold was, of course, also a type of topological space. Altering such parameters meant it could affect the Dream Lyra.
So when the Dream Lyra was within this environment, one could clearly see that the Cthulhu-like pulsation of its exterior had slowed.
A slowing of its pulsation meant the intrinsic rules of the Dream Lyra's original form were being changed.
But in the face of this rule modification, the Dream Lyra remained completely unmoved. It did not even need the shipboard String-based Computer to actively respond. Instead, just as Yue Yuan had said, there was no need to bother with it. It simply allowed the erosion to continue, relying on the Dream Lyra's passive defenses to neutralize it.
Thus, from the perspective of the Great Universe, a scene like this could soon be seen.
The pulsation across the Dream
