One-Dimensional Filaments appeared out of nowhere over the vast battlefield, one beside every warship.
Then the cluster of One-Dimensional Filaments seemed to twist according to some kind of pattern. That twist instantly tugged at the surrounding spacetime, pulling the nearby spacetime and the warships within it into threadlike shapes. Then, with "a flash of light," the One-Dimensional Filaments vanished, and naturally, every warship that had been drawn into a thread disappeared without a trace as well.
"Uh, what?! What's going on?" The Silver Heart Civilization Leader stared in terror at the images sent back by the detectors. He was certain those were One-Dimensional Filaments.
Precisely because he was certain, he was now utterly baffled, thinking, Could the Paper Civilization have betrayed us?
"Ah?! That can't be right, can it?" The Daya Civilization Leader was also a little dazed. He watched a great mass of One-Dimensional Filaments suddenly appear, then watched helplessly as those filaments pulled one enemy warship after another into threadlike shapes, completely unable to understand what was happening.
What was going on?
Why had so many One-Dimensional Filaments suddenly appeared? And what was even more miraculous was that these One-Dimensional Filaments had not spread outward and reduced all of three-dimensional space into one dimension. Instead, they had landed with precision on every single warship, reducing them one by one, then vanishing again.
What the hell was happening?
The Awakeners, however, remained very calm, because they had seen where the attack came from. They simply did not say anything. They saw that as each enemy warship was drawn into a One-Dimensional Filament, two of its Macroscopic Dimensions collapsed like an avalanche, while the information of the sole remaining Macroscopic Dimension vanished from the macro world together with the One-Dimensional Filament, pulled into the extremely Micro World.
And the Awakeners
