The Star Alliance had finally set out, but it had not gone far. Since the Star Alliance had yet to complete the Level 5 Civilization Creation Upgrade Plan, its destination was a star system seven light-years away.
There were seven rocky planets there, along with more than eighty rocky satellites and thousands of asteroids. Humanity planned to hollow the place out, then upgrade the engines of its largest existing vessels—Planet-Class Warships, Residential Spaceships, Biosphere Spaceships, and the like. Once that was done, construction of Star-Class Warships would begin.
Humanity was already thoroughly familiar with creation upgrades. Although Yue Yuan, as the leader of civilization, oversaw the entire plan, he only controlled the broader direction. Dedicated specialists handled the details of every task. After all, every profession had its own specialty.
As time passed, the Star Alliance gradually turned this star system into a bustling construction site. Lyra took on the initial mining work for every planet—mining with the Planet Destroyer Cannon.
Every rocky planet here had to take one shot. Once it shattered into pieces, all manner of resource-mining ships swarmed in. Little Grey followed behind, gnawing away at the planet fragments that had been broken into massive chunks.
After Little Grey had gnawed through them, the rock masses were broken down into piles of various metals. Transport ships then carried them to processing plants floating in the Void. Metals, nonmetals—any substance was useful. Under the Star Alliance's advanced technology, all of them became products and byproducts, then underwent secondary and tertiary processing. In the end, these resources became the materials needed to create all sorts of constructs.
The entire star system was filled with spacecraft coming and going, every bit the image of a busy interstellar construction site.
