Background / History
Lyra was chosen as Humanity’s flagship after Hope 1 became too small to remain a military and political center. Unlike ordinary warships, it was designated a “Hao” because it was intended to serve more than a combat role. Its name defeated proposals such as Noah’s Ark and Peter the Great through public voting. 151
The vessel became the headquarters of Humanity’s Command Department and later the military and political center of the Star Alliance. Human senior officials worked aboard it, and Star Alliance policy was issued from the Lyra. 151 578 708
Over successive rebuilds, Lyra incorporated the Awakener Consciousness Linking Device and the Pioneer’s Warp Space Enhancement Device. These systems transformed it from Humanity’s strongest conventional flagship into a vessel built around Characteristic Technology. 689 798 909
Humanity later developed the smaller, unfixed-form Dream Lyra using Calabi-Yau Space. The new flagship’s structure manifested microscopic high-dimensional technology on a macroscopic scale, granting it unusual defense, movement, and string-based offensive capabilities. 1464 1465 1496
Appearance
The original Lyra was a massive warship whose exterior was compared to flowing water. By the era of its planetary operations, it was large enough to land in an ocean and affect an entire planet’s magnetic field and weather. 857 863 1139
- Constructed with highly durable armor, including Alloy No. 2 during its earlier service and Quark Material in its Level 6 form. 390 1062
- Used immense Magnetic Propulsion thrusters rather than visible flame exhaust. 857
- Its Level 6 surface could dissolve into pixel-like fragments immediately before Quantum Macro Tunneling. 1086
- Dream Lyra has no fixed macroscopic form: its exterior churns, twists, flows, and displays shifting spectral colors. 1496
- Prolonged observation of Dream Lyra can draw viewers into fear, curiosity, nightmares, or attempts to comprehend its changing topology. 1488 1496 1497
Abilities & Systems
Third-Person Piloting Mode
The Awakener-derived consciousness system allows coordinated pilots to perceive danger and operate Lyra with exceptional predictive precision.
- Supports synchronized control by selected pilots through Consciousness Linking. 689 960
- Enables predictive dodging and targeting in close combat. 807 961
- Allows pilots to observe threats that conventional detection struggles to track, including the Heavenly Maiden Civilization’s movements. 1139 1142
- Requires sustained concentration during high-intensity combat. 1088
Magnetic Propulsion and Warp Travel
Lyra’s conventional propulsion is magnetic, while its warp systems evolved through Pioneer technology and later Human-developed high-dimensional movement.
- Magnetic Propulsion overload at 160% allowed Lyra to evade 776 incoming electromagnetic cannon shells. 483
- Its overclocked thrusters can sustain extreme operation for approximately one hour. 483
- The Pioneer Warp Enhancement Device enabled warp speeds beyond normal Human warships and eventually supported 256-times-light-speed travel. 909 1033
- At Level 6, it could instantaneously enter and exit warp. 909 1172
- Dream Lyra’s Microscopic High-Dimensional Jump permits repeated long-range teleportation, though consecutive jumps temporarily burden its engines. 1500 1512
Quantum Macro Tunneling
A Pioneer Characteristic Technology system that moves the entire vessel by converting it into pixel-like fragments and reappearing elsewhere.
- Safe operational range is approximately three light-years; extreme-distance use risks unknown losses or errors. 1062 1175
- Can evade attacks that bypass conventional shields and armor, including Electron Destruction Strikes and Four-Dimensional Weapon Projections. 1086 1175
- Allows point-to-point transmission between Lyra and a planetary surface after analysis and setup. 1062
- Has capacity for roughly one million people; personnel cannot tunnel into solid matter or enemy warships. 1062
- Frequent use consumes immense energy and cannot be sustained indefinitely. 1176
Quantum Exile Strike
Humanity’s signature weapon banishes targets into an unknown Quantum World or destroys them through quantum phenomena.
- Exiled the Harvester Electron Warship, ending its threat to the United Front Organization. 1094
- Can be divided from one large strike into roughly ten smaller attacks, allowing repeated use against dispersed targets. 1142 1172
- Instantly eliminated Yao, Ierna, and Ku Yin of the Heavenly Maiden Civilization with a strike spanning 63,240 astronomical units. 1142 1143
- Later reached a maximum range of 1.618 light-years. 1290
- Cannot be used around Lyra itself to eliminate enemies who have boarded it without risking the vessel’s own exile. 1173
Conventional Weaponry
Lyra has carried several major weapon systems across its upgrades.
- Super Large Positron Cannon — its principal Lake-Class main gun. 318
- Armor-Piercing Electromagnetic Railgun — fired hydrogen-bomb warheads capable of bypassing Magnetic Shields. 390
- Antimatter Planet Destroyer Cannon — employed in warp-speed engagements and planetary destruction operations. 692 809
- Tachyon Light Sword — can sweep across vast areas through slight hull-angle adjustments. 952
- Void Strike and Space Cutting Weapon — Level 6 weapons used against the Electron Warship, Heavenly Maiden forces, and conventional fleets. 1088 1172
- Grand Movement / String Plucking — Dream Lyra’s string-based attack, which induces resonances and self-destruction among microscopic Calabi-Yau spaces in the target area. 1516
Defensive Systems
Lyra relies primarily on evasion and material resilience rather than a conventional shield.
- Alloy No. 2 armor withstood an electromagnetic-railgun impact with only a slight dent. 390
- Quark Material armor can restore damaged sections by converting incoming energy into new Quark Material, provided the damage is not catastrophic in a single strike. 1175
- Lyra deliberately lacks a conventional shield because shielding would have to be disabled before Quantum Macro Tunneling, slowing its reaction time. 1062
- Dream Lyra possesses a Flexible Rule Shield: its own Calabi-Yau-derived rules continuously renew its surface against environmental rule-modification attacks. 1514
