During one study of Feynman Diagrams, scientists accidentally discovered that they could be applied to calculations involving certain spatial structures. They could also eliminate all potential infinite terms and produce finite answers.
Following this path, humanity was startled to discover that its previous Negative Energy Extraction Device design had flaws.
Simply simulating the stable force field of a Natural Wormhole structure was not enough. In theory, Negative Energy could be extracted from the Negative Energy Field through such a structure, but humanity eventually discovered that its device experienced energy backflow during operation.
