Electric currents surged wildly across Electivire's body, producing a tremendous crackling sound in the air.

Eichi did not catch what Rex had said for a moment.

Forget it, it did not matter.

Eichi then threw himself fully into the battle.

"Electivire, Thunderbolt!"

Countless currents surged through Electivire like a generator, rushing madly toward the top of its head. More than a dozen streams of electricity gathered in the air before being unleashed all at once.

The savage lightning, like silver serpents, shot straight at Beedrill. Electivire stared at Beedrill, unable to hide the fighting spirit in its eyes.

As Thunderbolt struck toward it, Beedrill's body vanished in an instant. Compared to Thunderbolt, its figure truly seemed almost identical.

It swiftly dodged Electivire's Thunderbolt. The silver lightning serpent struck the ground, instantly shattering a rock and scorching the surrounding earth black.

Rex's expression turned solemn. Beedrill was simply too fast.

How fast was it? In less than a second, Beedrill could race from one end of the arena to the other and back.

So far, he had never seen a Pokémon among those of the same age that was faster than Beedrill.

The entire Battle Arena seemed to have become Beedrill's backyard. It could come and go as it pleased.

To defeat Beedrill, they had to deal with its speed.

With that in mind, Rex gave his command.

"Electivire, Rain Dance!"

Hearing Rex's command, Eichi was visibly stunned.

Rain Dance?

Electivire could learn Rain Dance? Electivire was an Electric-type Pokémon, yet it could actually learn Rain Dance.

Sato in the stands was also stunned. If Electivire could learn Rain Dance, did that mean his could as well?

Electivire pressed its hands together and said something to the sky in an incomprehensible language. Then, dark clouds instantly blanketed the entire sky.
