Flygon felt as though it was in unbearable pain. The attack from earlier had struck its body, and the agony made it lose consciousness in an instant.

Its vision went dark, and then it knew nothing.

Gardevoir's Future Sight arrived belatedly, and Mina had been incredibly lucky—it had actually struck Flygon's vital spot. No one had expected that.

"Bang!!"

Flygon's body slammed viciously into the ground.

It smashed out a shallow crater, with Flygon embedded within it.

The Gardevoir on the other side was the same.

Looking at it this way, both Pokémon had lost their ability to battle.

The referee stepped forward to inspect the two Pokémon.

"Gardevoir and Flygon have simultaneously lost their ability to battle." The referee raised his flag and announced.

The big screen promptly updated, and the portraits of Gardevoir and Flygon dimmed.

It was now tied again, 4:4.

The battle was becoming more and more exciting. Both sides had been reduced to their final two Pokémon.

Eichi's remaining two Pokémon were Beedrill and Armaldo.

Mina's remaining two Pokémon were Milotic and Armaldo.

They both had an Armaldo, but the difference in their strength was worlds apart.

One was Elite Class, while the other was Elite Four level—a difference of more than ten levels and two major realms.

They still did not know that Beedrill had already broken through to Elite Four level.

So, on Eichi's side, there was one Peak Gym Leader and one Elite Class Pokémon. No matter how one looked at it, it was a guaranteed loss.

After Flygon lost its ability to battle, Eichi was immediately put at a disadvantage.

Mina finally let out a sigh of relief. She had sacrificed three Pokémon and, with good luck, finally managed to take down Flygon. It had truly been difficult.
