Continuing deeper inside, Eichi followed Ash as they toured nearly the entire ecosystem.
They looked over all the Pokémon that had once belonged to Professor Oak: Dragonite, Gyarados, Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, Kangaskhan, Nidoking, Nidoqueen...
Each Pokémon was larger than the last, and their levels were higher than the last as well.
They each had their own territory, where they reigned like emperors.
They had all produced offspring too, and quite a few at that. It seemed as though they were on the verge of forming their own clans.

At last, they arrived at Dragonite's habitat, located in a forest along the edge of the grasslands.
Beside a lake, surrounded by trees, stood a mountain in the distance with a waterfall hanging from it. The water flowing down eventually emptied into the lake.
"Splash!!"
The sound of flowing water drifted into their ears.
A group of Water-type Pokémon lay lazily on the shore, basking in the sun.
Besides them, several dozen Dratini and Dragonair swam through the water.
And when they arrived, Eichi's Dragonair was battling another
