Eichi caught up with Teacher Arno, then visited old friends and prepared for a long trip with his father, Xiao Yu, and Aunt Keiko. By the end, the group was ready to leave, and Xiao Yu arrived at Eichi’s home eager to set off.

• Eichi told Teacher Arno about winning the Five School League, and Teacher Arno praised his progress while doubting his chances of becoming a Bug-type Elite Four member.

• Cyndaquil defeated Vulpix with Flame Charge, and Blissey healed Vulpix after Director Liu declared it unable to battle.
• Xiao Ye sent out her level 42 Breloom, and Long Chuan commanded Cyndaquil to attack with Flamethrower.

Xiao Ye defeated all ten junior students in succession, including Long Chuan, whose Scizor lost to her Breloom. After the teachers finished discussing, Eichi stepped in as the next opponent and faced Long Chuan’s Cyndaquil with Armaldo.
