After defeating Teacher Lantu, Eichi began his second match against Teacher Agu, a returning academy fighter whose Hitmonchan was at early Elite Four level. Heracross and Hitmonchan traded attacks, leaving both Pokémon injured as the battle remained even.

  • Cloyster pursued Heracross with a powerful Water Gun, but Heracross dodged and struck its withdrawn shell with Horn Attack.

  • Cloyster repeatedly fired ice needles at Heracross, which used Bullet Seed to counter them before charging through with Swords Dance and MegaHorn.
  • Heracross shattered Cloyster’s shell, then charged through another Spike Cannon and struck Cloyster with Horn Attack, knocking it out.
  • Director Liu declared Heracross the winner, and Eichi and Teacher Ai recalled their exhausted Pokémon and sent out Beedrill and Sneasel.
  • Teacher Ai ordered Sneasel to attack Beedrill with Metal Claw, and Beedrill blocked the strike with its twin stingers.

Ch. 821An Effortless Battle

Eichi’s Beedrill defeated Teacher Ai’s Dewgong, bringing him one win away from passing the practical assessment. After resting, Eichi faced the arrival of the final teacher, whose identity surprised the spectators.

  • Beedrill blocked Dewgong’s attacks, then used Agility to evade Ice Beam and strike Dewgong with a critical Brick Break.
  • Director Liu declared Dewgong unable to battle, and Teacher Ai praised Eichi’s Beedrill before recalling her Pokémon and leaving.
