Ch. 363Frigga of Odin, Hera of Zeus, and Gwen of Hawk

Hawk brought Gwen and Gamora to Ego’s Planet, where Ego revealed his Celestial identity and his connection to Star-Lord. As Gamora grew suspicious of Ego and left after arguing with Star-Lord, Hawk and Gwen prepared for Hawk to investigate.

  • Hawk transported Gwen and Gamora to Ego’s Planet, where Star-Lord and Ego soon arrived.
  • Ego showed the group his story and took Star-Lord to the statue of Star-Lord’s mother while Hawk and Gwen watched from their room.
  • Hawk told Gwen she was his Goddess Queen, and Gwen worried that Ego had caused Star-Lord’s mother’s brain cancer and was deceiving Star-Lord.
  • Gamora told Star-Lord she distrusted Ego, and they argued about his newly found family before Gamora left him alone.
  • Gwen eavesdropped on Star-Lord and Gamora’s argument, then told Hawk to get to work and investigate Ego.

Ch. 364A Day Trip to Ego's Planet

Hawk followed Gamora and Nebula to Ego’s Planet’s hill of bones, then went to Ego’s true form to study it and seek the Eighth Sense. After Gamora learned Ego had murdered his children, Gwen revealed that she and the others were already aboard the Enterprise and ordered them transported back.

  • Nebula attacked Gamora from a combat ship, and Hawk followed the sisters to a cave filled with the skulls of Ego’s dead children.
  • Hawk reached Ego’s true form while Ego tried to persuade Star-Lord to join him, then began using his Seventh Sense to study the Eighth Sense.
  • Gamora and Nebula discovered the hill of bones, learned from Mantis that Ego had killed his children, and agreed to find Peter and leave.
  • Gamora warned Gwen that Ego’s Planet was dangerous, and Gwen revealed that she already knew Ego wanted to use Star-Lord as a battery.
  • Gwen showed Gamora that she was aboard the Enterprise with Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Yondu, and his surviving subordinate, then ordered the Enterprise to transport them back.

Ch. 365I'm Not a God, I'm the Goddess Queen

Star-Lord learned that Ego had killed his mother and was beamed back to the Enterprise, which repelled another Sovereign attack. Hawk destroyed Ego’s Planet and entered Ego’s true form to subdue him, while Star-Lord was suddenly transported to Hawk’s side.

  • Star-Lord heard Ego confess that he had put the tumor in his mother’s head, shot Ego in rage, and then vanished in transporter light.
  • Star-Lord reunited with Gamora and recognized why Yondu had kept him after taking him from Earth.
  • The Enterprise destroyed Sovereign’s attacking drone fighters and jumped away from Ego’s Planet when Hawk’s assault began.
  • Hawk used Pegasus Comet Punch to split Ego’s Planet, then defeated Ego after Ego refused to let him examine his true form.
  • Hawk entered Ego’s true form and attacked him, while Star-Lord suddenly appeared beside Hawk on the Enterprise’s screen.

Ch. 366Celestial Star-Lord? No, Celestial Star-Lord!

Hawk killed Ego and forced Star-Lord to replace him, becoming a new Celestial. After helping Star-Lord form a protected true body, Hawk returned to the Enterprise and teleported him aboard.

  • Hawk confirmed Ego had only one true form and stopped him from self-destructing.
  • Hawk persuaded Star-Lord to become a Celestial by invoking Gamora's connection to Thanos, then killed his body and sent his soul into Ego's true form.
  • Star-Lord killed Ego and replaced his will with his own, while Hawk used the process to study his Eighth Sense.
  • Star-Lord emerged as Celestial Star-Lord, and Hawk used Phoenix Fire to turn his true form into a necklace pendant.
  • Hawk returned to the Enterprise, where Gamora, Gwen, Rocket Raccoon, and Yondu watched Star-Lord paddle through space before Hawk teleported him aboard.

Ch. 367The End of the Honeymoon Trip

Hawk and Gwen finished their honeymoon journey and returned to Earth after pausing near Jupiter, while Hawk reflected on life and the limits of his cultivation. They arrived home together, and Hawk dismissed the Enterprise.

  • Gwen wondered why Earth was in such a remote region, and Hawk explained that its location near the World Tree entrance made it Odin's territory and helped keep it safe from slave-catching ships.
  • Hawk spent two days contemplating life through the insights he gained from Ego, understanding why his Sixth Sense had warned him against asking Eitri to forge a Gold Cloth.
  • The Enterprise paused near Jupiter, where Gwen admired the planet, and Hawk told her he had learned what he could from his contemplation and would not force further progress.
  • Gwen suggested visiting Mephisto near Pluto, but Hawk explained that Mephisto was still refining the Heaven Dimension, so she ordered the Enterprise to Earth at full speed.
  • After reaching Earth, Hawk and Gwen left the Enterprise, and Hawk withdrew the energy sustaining it before carrying Gwen down through the atmosphere toward home.

Ch. 368The Essence of Captain America 3's Story

After returning from their honeymoon, Hawk learned that Sharon was wanted for treason and that the Security Council had imposed superhero oversight. The chapter ended with Agent Hal revealing that Jason Harris had replaced Sharon’s agents in Westview Town.

  • Hawk and Gwen returned to their Manhattan home, where Gwen asked whether anything had happened to Westview Town or George and Helen.
  • Jason Harris introduced himself as Hawk’s new S.H.I.E.L.D. liaison and said Sharon was wanted worldwide for treason.
  • When Jason invoked a Security Council order, Hawk vaporized him with a beam from his eyes.
  • Hawk invited Agent Hal inside and learned that the Security Council had passed Resolution 117, setting off the conflict between Captain America and Tony Stark and making Sharon, Hawkeye, and Black Widow wanted.
  • Agent Hal told Hawk that Jason had replaced Sharon’s agents in Westview Town.

Ch. 369Catch the King First

Hawk suspected the new Security Council Superhero Act and the S.H.I.E.L.D. presence in Westview Town were aimed at him, so he retaliated by killing the agents stationed there. He left Wanda responsible for keeping strangers away from the children and then flew off to confront those behind the operation.

  • Gwen told Hawk that Sharon's phone could not be reached, and they discussed the conflict between freedom and regulation.
  • Hawk said the act might be targeting him and decided to retaliate, while Gwen agreed to stay home.
  • Hawk appeared in Westview Town and used his Seventh Sense to capture more than fifty S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents disguised as residents.
  • Hawk killed the agents without hearing their explanations, and Wanda sent Pietro home to watch Jean.
  • Hawk told Wanda that his trust in S.H.I.E.L.D. came from his friendships with Sharon Carter, Maria Hill, and Victoria Hand, then ordered Wanda to keep strangers out of town.
  • Hawk warned Wanda he would take the children away if she failed to protect them, then flew into the sky.

Ch. 370No Need to Trouble a Second Party

Hawk reached Washington, D.C., and confronted the military over David Harris’s Superhero Act, demanding that she be brought to him alive, the act be repealed, and its backers be killed. He left the military with a three-hour deadline and warned that he would go to war if they refused.

  • Victoria Hand told Maria Hill that Hawk was flying toward Washington, D.C., after destroying the new New York commander and more than fifty S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents in Westview Town.
  • Hill decided to take leave, switched off her phone, and ran toward a S.H.I.E.L.D. fighter jet as Hawk streaked toward the White House.
  • Hawk breached the White House and appeared in the Pentagon command center with a man whose throat he crushed.
  • Hawk gave Old Bai three hours to deliver David Harris alive, repeal the Superhero Act, and kill the people backing it, or face war.
  • Old Bai stopped the soldiers from shooting Hawk, and Hawk told him the military was responsible because the bill’s backers relied on its support.

Ch. 371When Violence Speaks, Money Falls Silent

After Hawk captured Harris and confronted the military at the Pentagon, he forced the Federation to arrest and eliminate those who had provoked him. The chapter ended with Hawk thanking Minister Old Bai, then ordering the two half-blood corpses chopped up and fed to dogs.

  • A meteorite struck the White House, killing the president, and the new president abolished the Superhero Act and revoked the treason charges against Steve Rogers, Clinton Barton, Natasha Romanoff, and Sharon Carter.
  • Soldiers captured Harris and brought him toward the Pentagon, where Hawk warned Minister Old Bai that he had two hours and ten minutes to explain the provocations.
  • Minister Old Bai ordered an emergency lockdown of Manhattan Island and deployed the National Guard to arrest the people behind the plot.
  • After Harris's death, Hawk demanded that anyone who pleaded for the suspects be killed, and Minister Old Bai ordered his assistant to arrange their deaths.
  • The military reported the suspects dead or missing, and Hawk reviewed their photographs as he called out their names.
  • Hawk thanked Minister Old Bai and ordered the two half-blood corpses chopped up and fed to the dogs.

Ch. 372The Founding Emperor Avenges the High Founder

Hawk dismantled a conspiracy in Washington, D.C., announced that the Kingdom of Judah would be erased in half a month, and returned to his family as Gwen’s pregnancy brought them closer together. After visiting relatives and friends, Hawk met Sharon and told her that her time was up.

  • Hawk’s return ended the conspiracy against him, and he told Victoria Hand to give the Security Council half a month to evacuate the Kingdom of Judah before he erased it from Earth.
  • Hawk told Victoria that Gwen was pregnant, then returned home and took Gwen to visit her parents; George briefly joined them before returning to work.
  • Hawk and Gwen visited Chloe’s family in Westview Town and brought Anya back to New York City, then spent more than ten days completing their wedding visits and ceremonies.
  • Sharon arrived at Hawk and Gwen’s home after finishing her work, and Hawk clinked glasses with her before saying that her time was up.

Ch. 373Hawk: "I'm What They Use to Fear"

Hawk destroyed a monitored region with a Super Meteorite, then confronted Doctor Strange at the New York Sanctum about his actions and the people he had targeted. After showing Strange his violent past and terrifying him into backing down, Hawk demanded that Strange open a portal to Odin.

  • Hawk summoned a Gold Cloth and struck the ground with a Super Meteorite, leaving a vast white expanse as S.H.I.E.L.D. and other observers shut down their satellite feeds.
  • Hawk entered the New York Sanctum through a Spark Portal, where Doctor Strange challenged him over his actions.
  • Hawk asked whether Strange sympathized with his targets; Strange said he did not, but warned that Hawk's actions could endanger the world.
  • Hawk showed Strange memories of his past, including battles and the destruction of entire clans, and Strange's vigilance turned to fear.
  • Hawk warned Strange not to challenge him again, greeted Wong, and told Strange to open a portal to Odin instead of the backyard of 521A Palm Street.

Ch. 374A Conversation with Odin (Third Update!!!)

Hawk visited Odin in Norway to ask how he had fallen into time’s trap, hoping to learn how to avoid it while pursuing the Eighth Sense. Odin explained that he had tried to use Midgard to devour the universe, and Hawk pressed him on whether he had ever fought back against the conspiracy behind his downfall.

  • Doctor Strange opened a portal to Odin’s secluded residence in Norway, then told Wong about the terrifying scenes he had witnessed in Hawk’s past.
  • Hawk arrived at the Norwegian coast and asked Odin how he had fallen into time’s trap.
  • Odin agreed with Hawk’s account of The Ancient One’s attempt to alter her fate, but said that destined endings could not be changed.
  • Odin explained that he had severed Midgard from the Nine Realms to use it as a springboard to devour the universe, but Eternity of time had conspired against him.
  • Hawk asked Odin whether he had ever tried to fight back over the long years.

Ch. 375Time's Traps Are Everywhere

Hawk met Odin on the Norwegian cliffs and learned how Odin's attempts to avert Ragnarok had led to Frigga's death and accelerated his own decline. Odin shared his knowledge of life with Hawk, asked him to watch over Thor, and warned that time's traps were everywhere.

  • Odin explained that changing the process of a past event could not change its outcome, and recounted how he had foreseen Ragnarok after Midgard became Earth.
  • Odin revealed that he had allowed Malekith to attack in hopes of resetting the Nine Realms, but Frigga died and the reset failed.
  • Odin explained that Ragnarok would come regardless of who stopped Malekith, and that he had sealed Hela away to delay it without telling her about the time trap.
  • Odin told Hawk that Earth’s severance from the World Tree Universe was draining his power and that he could not hold Hela much longer.
  • Odin taught Hawk his understanding of life, then asked him to watch over Thor and warned him that time’s traps were everywhere.

Ch. 376Reality Stone: This Road Is Blocked

Hawk learned from Odin that time could trap those who tried to transcend it, then realized the Reality Stone might destroy his Phoenix Cosmos if he used it to manifest a universe. He ended the chapter questioning whether to abandon that path or find another way forward.

  • Hawk told Gwen about Odin's warning that revealing Ragnarok's outcome would remove Thor and Hela's chance to escape it.
  • Gwen urged Hawk to proceed steadily and avoid giving time an opportunity to trap him.
  • Hawk recalled the Infinity Gauntlet in Odin's Vault and inferred that Odin had abandoned his attempt to use it because time's traps were everywhere.
  • Hawk realized that using the Reality Stone to manifest his Phoenix Cosmos could let time destroy it and turn his efforts into time's dowry.
  • Hawk reasoned that time had warned Frigga because changing Ragnarok's arranged ending would cause time to collapse, even if the change otherwise served time's purpose.
  • Hawk wondered whether to give up on manifesting a universe or seek another path.

Ch. 377A Phoenix Comes to Roost, But Only in the Parasol Tree

Hawk realized he could use the World Tree as an anchor to manifest his Phoenix Cosmos without placing himself under the Main Universe’s time, but doing so would mean challenging Time for control of it. He decided he could seize it, though he would need to awaken the Ninth Sense, and explained to Gwen that the World Tree could serve as the Phoenix’s Wutong Tree.

  • Hawk considered the Reality Stone, the Heaven Dimension, and the World Tree as possible anchors for manifesting his Phoenix Cosmos, and concluded the World Tree alone met his requirements.
  • Hawk told Gwen that taking the World Tree would mean directly opposing Time rather than proceeding cautiously.
  • Gwen asked whether Hawk could seize the World Tree, and Hawk said he could as long as Eternity did not personally intervene.
  • Hawk explained that using the World Tree as an anchor would require him to awaken the Ninth Sense, Amala-vijnana, to manifest the Phoenix Cosmos.
  • Hawk told Gwen that a phoenix needed a Wutong Tree and that the World Tree could serve as one.

Ch. 378The Pros and Cons of Taking the Field

Hawk hesitated to take back the World Tree because Time could retaliate by sending Gwen to an Earth in the Multiverse. Gwen urged him to act anyway, and Hawk promised to reclaim the tree before leaving; afterward, Gwen called Wanda to ask her to go shopping.

  • Hawk explained that using the World Tree as the fulcrum for his Phoenix Cosmos would let him comprehend the Ninth Sense, Amala-vijnana.
  • Gwen encouraged Hawk to take the World Tree back, but Hawk warned that Time might send her to an Earth in the Multiverse to threaten him.
  • Gwen asked whether they would die or forget each other, and whether Hawk would find her if Time displaced her; Hawk answered no to the first two and yes to the last.
  • Gwen insisted that Hawk should not let Time control him, and Hawk promised to reclaim the World Tree.
  • After Hawk left, Gwen went upstairs, called Wanda, and asked if she was free to go shopping.

Ch. 379Eitri the Dwarf King

Hawk entered the World Tree during one of its manifestations and traveled to Nidavellir to have Eitri forge a Phoenix Gold Cloth. After Eitri finished hammering, he asked Hawk what he wanted forged, and Hawk answered, "Cloth!"

  • Hawk watched the World Tree flicker between the Main Universe and its own existence, waiting for a chance to enter.
  • When the World Tree manifested clearly, Hawk flew inside and headed for Nidavellir to seek the Gold Cloth.
  • Hawk arrived at Nidavellir and revealed his Phoenix aura, impressing the Dwarves and meeting Eitri.
  • While Eitri worked, Hawk noticed the Infinity Gauntlet mold and considered how Thanos might have forced Eitri to forge his glove.
  • Eitri finished his work, turned to Hawk, and asked what he wanted forged; Hawk replied, "Cloth!"

Ch. 380Save the People, Lose the Land; Save Both the People and the Land

Hawk prepared to forge the Golden Phoenix Cloth, the tool he needed to seize the World Tree at the instant time was overwhelmed by the universe’s eruption. As the forging began, Gwen quietly prepared Wanda to care for Hawk, leaving their future parting unspoken.

  • Hawk resolved to seize the World Tree to save the people he loved, despite knowing time would separate him from someone close to him.
  • In Nidavellir, Eitri the Dwarf King and the dwarves completed the Golden Phoenix Cloth molds using Adamantium, Gamanion, Uru Metal, and the Phoenix Cloth projection as their guide.
  • On Earth, Gwen taught Wanda to make Phoenix No. 1 Sauce and gave her more recipes, saying Wanda could help care for Hawk if Gwen became too busy to come home.
  • Wanda questioned Gwen’s unusual sharing, but accepted her explanation that her research project might demand overtime.
  • Eitri asked Hawk if he was ready to begin forging, and Hawk gathered himself and agreed.

Ch. 381Phoenix's First Alliance Pact

Hawk replaced Nidavellir’s Star-Ring Forge fire with his Phoenix Fire so Eitri could forge his Gold Cloth. The final hammer fell, leaving the Cloth’s creation at its climax.

  • After Odin’s fall, Eitri signed an alliance pact with Hawk, promising Nidavellir’s exclusive smithing in exchange for protection and alcohol.
  • Hawk ordered Eitri to shut down the Star-Ring Forge, then plunged into the star inside its protective shell.
  • Hawk unleashed his Cosmo and changed the star’s flames into Phoenix Fire, which powered the forge again.
  • Eitri and the dwarves forged the Cloth from Adamantium, Uru Metal, and life energy as Hawk poured his Cosmo and sense of life into the process.
  • Eitri struck the final hammer blow as the phoenix cries rang out.

Ch. 382The Birth of the Phoenix Gold Cloth

Hawk completed the Phoenix Gold Cloth and, wearing it, ascended to temporary chief-god status. He declared that Nidavellir was under his eternal protection, and Thanos stopped his starship after hearing the warning as he headed there to have an Infinity Gauntlet forged.

  • Eitri completed the Phoenix Gold Cloth, which awakened and merged with Hawk when he put it on.
  • Hawk unleashed a golden Phoenix phantom over Nidavellir and declared that he would protect it, warning other gods not to attack.
  • Cosmic gods who heard Hawk’s declaration recognized him as a chief god and chose to avoid Nidavellir.
  • Thanos, having destroyed Xandar and obtained the Power Stone, halted his starship when Hawk’s warning reached him on his way to Nidavellir.
