Ch. 383Thanos's Resolve to Destroy

Thanos abandoned his plan to purge Nidavellir after learning that Phoenix had become its Chief God, while keeping his mission to obtain the Infinity Gauntlet. Across the World Tree, Odin’s enemies celebrated his fall, and Hela held Thor at the moment Hawk’s declaration reached Asgard.

  • Thanos recalled Hawk’s destruction of the Heaven Dimension and revised his plan, deciding that Nidavellir would be exempt from his purge because Phoenix protected it.
  • Thanos ordered the Black Order to keep their route to Nidavellir unchanged and resumed Sanctuary II’s journey, thinking of Gamora.
  • The Frost Giants of Jotunheim celebrated Odin’s death and ignored Hawk’s declaration.
  • The Dark Elves of Alfheim and Fire Giants of Belfheim also celebrated Odin’s fall, while Helheim remained empty because Hela had taken its dead to form her army.
  • Hela pinned Thor by the throat against the palace railing as Hawk’s voice and the phoenix cry reached Asgard.

Ch. 384Hulk, Hulk, Hulk Again

Hela attacked Asgard and prepared to kill Thor before turning her wrath on Nidavellir, which had accepted Hawk’s protection. Thor awakened as the God of Thunder and fought Hela while Hawk watched, and Loki headed for Odin’s Vault as Ragnarok began.

  • Hawk spotted Loki running toward Odin’s Vault under Thor’s instructions.

Ch. 385Divine Power That Vanished and Returned

Hawk waited until Surtur destroyed Asgard and the World Tree, then unleashed his Cosmo power and caused the Nine Realms and World Tree to vanish. Thor briefly lost his Divine Power before it returned, leaving him confused as Heimdall mistook his explanation for a joke.

  • Loki placed Surtur's crown in the Eternal Fire, resurrecting Surtur and fleeing the vault with the Space Stone.
  • Surtur destroyed Asgard, overwhelmed Hela, and forced Thor, Valkyrie, and Hulk to escape with the people of Asgard.
  • Surtur erased Asgard with his flaming sword, and Hawk unleashed his Cosmo power as the World Tree was about to merge into the Main Universe.
  • Hawk's golden light made Asgard, the other realms, and the World Tree vanish without a trace.
  • Thor discovered that his Divine Power had vanished, but lightning returned to his hand moments later, and Heimdall assumed Thor had been joking.

Ch. 386The Price of Taking the World Tree

Hawk seized the collapsing World Tree from time and tried to restore it by replacing Helheim with his Netherworld. The World Tree resisted, and after Hawk weakened himself, a black figure emerged and stabbed him from behind.

  • Time reversed the moment the World Tree fell and discovered Hawk had taken it, then raged at him.
  • Hawk accepted that time might exile Gwen, recalling her wedding vows and his promise to bring her home.
  • Hawk explained that the World Tree remained critically damaged and needed its lost origin replenished.
  • Hawk placed his Netherworld where Helheim had been, but the World Tree resisted and caused him to spit golden blood twice.
  • A black figure appeared behind Hawk and stabbed him through the chest with a particularly black blade.

Ch. 387Hawk's Fall! (First Update!)

  • Mephisto told Hawk that he had planted doubts and ideas that would lead him to the World Tree, and Hawk acknowledged the manipulation before thanking him and dying.

Ch. 388Hawk, Who Loved His Rebellious Son Deeply

Hawk revealed that he had anticipated Mephisto’s attempt to exploit the Underworld and had transformed the World Tree into the Wutong World Tree, foiling Mephisto’s plan to claim the Phoenix’s authority. He confronted Mephisto over his repeated betrayals and offered him one last punishment in the Underworld, but Mephisto chose to fight and Hela refused to join him.

  • Hela realized Hawk’s soul had not entered her Underworld, and Mephisto tried to escape as Hawk’s Underworld vanished.
  • The surrounding space shattered and was replaced by a restored Wutong World Tree, where the Phoenix illuminated a newly forming divine realm.
  • Hawk appeared atop the Wutong World Tree and taunted Mephisto, explaining that he had never trusted him and had kept souls out of his true Underworld.

  • Hela refused Mephisto’s request to fight Hawk alongside him.

Ch. 389Master of the Wutong World Tree

Hawk revealed that he had killed the real Hela and used the Reality Stone to impersonate her, tricking Mephisto after taking control of the World Tree. He refused Mephisto’s plea for mercy and killed him, declaring that Death could not enter his universe.

  • Hela refused to help Mephisto attack Hawk, then kicked Mephisto into a crater when he struck at her.
  • Hawk revealed that Hela was an illusion created with the Reality Stone and explained that he had reclaimed the World Tree, killed the real Hela, and restored Thor’s Divine Authority.

  • Mephisto threatened Hawk with Death, but Hawk said Death could not enter his universe and killed Mephisto.

Ch. 390Anna, the New Goddess of Death

Hawk destroyed Mephisto, joined his Underworld to the Wutong World Tree, and appointed Anna Pierce its Goddess of Death. Anna accepted the role and learned that her authority encompassed both death and rebirth, though she still needed a staff to assist her.

  • Hawk snapped his fingers and erased Mephisto completely, then returned to the crown of the World Tree and merged his Underworld with it.
  • Hawk discovered that ruling the Wutong World Tree improved his understanding of the Eighth Sense, though he still needed to awaken the Ninth Sense to materialize his Phoenix Cosmos.
  • Anna saw the Wutong Divine Realm taking shape, and Hawk offered to make her its Goddess of Death because she was his friend.
  • Anna accepted, and Hawk's divine oracle granted her the World Tree's Death Divine Authority and transformed her into its Goddess of Death.

Ch. 392If I'm Having a Hard Time, Don't You Dare Have It Easy

Hawk returned Frigga to Odin in Valhalla, then reformed the World Tree’s afterlife into a cycle of Underworld and Light Dimension. He resurrected Odin and Frigga as the World Tree’s God of Light and Dark Goddess, forcing them to serve until he found Gwen.

  • Hawk arrived in Valhalla with Frigga, and she reunited with Odin before going to comfort the Asgardian people.
  • Hawk confronted Odin over his role in the World Tree crisis, and Odin admitted he had acted to keep the Main Universe from obtaining it.
  • Hawk declared that the World Tree’s dead would pass through the Underworld, with the innocent ascending to a new Light Dimension and the guilty sinking into damnation.
  • The World Tree dropped leaves that resurrected Odin and Frigga, restoring Odin’s missing eye and making him the God of Light and her the Dark Goddess.
  • Hawk told Odin that he and Frigga would rule day and night without reuniting until Hawk found Gwen, and golden light then appeared on the platform.

Ch. 393Gwen Is Gone, So Whatever Happens, Happens

  • Hawk told Odin he would not wait for time to return Gwen and would go find her himself.
  • Odin warned Hawk that time was targeting the World Trees across the Main Multiverse and could erase all memory of Hawk if he left.

  • Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian arrived after the families had departed, and Doctor Strange pulled Westview Town into the Mirror Dimension.
  • Ebony Maw demanded that Doctor Strange and Bruce Banner be handed over, and Cull Obsidian moved to attack.

Ch. 397The Celestials Make Their Entrance

Hawk left the Wutong Divine Realm and confronted the Main Universe’s suppression after taking the World Tree. When The Shaker Grylis attacked, Hawk demanded that he return Gwen, then prepared to fight.

  • Hawk stepped into the Main Universe, where Time unleashed ominous prophecies and the Main Universe suppressed his power.
  • Hawk ignited his Cosmo, regained Celestial Level combat power, and challenged the Main Universe to suppress him more heavily.
  • A giant fork attacked Hawk, who donned his golden Phoenix armor, caught it, and hurled The Shaker Grylis toward a nearby planet.
  • The Shaker Grylis introduced himself and declared that whoever caused the disturbance in Time must die.
  • Hawk demanded that Grylis bring his wife back from the Multiverse where Time had imprisoned her, but Grylis attacked with his fork.

  • Hawk used the Crystal Wall to block Grylis and struck him with the Stardust Spinning Technique, badly injuring him.
  • Hawk disabled Grylis by severing both his arms and told him to have the Celestials return Gwen within a month or face the destruction of every planet containing a Celestial Seed.

He refused to intervene because he considered Tiamut different from the other Celestials and a friend, and the chapter ended with Sharon reporting that Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, and the others had returned.

  • Hawk asked Wanda whether Earth should act to survive or wait for destruction, and Wanda admitted she did not know.
  • Hawk said Gwen would choose to eliminate the threat, then revealed he could deal with Tiamut because he had absorbed some of her energy years earlier.
  • Hawk refused to interfere, explaining that Tiamut was different from the other Celestials and that she understood him.
