Ling Qingya frowned as she looked at the chains wrapped around her body. Her gaze flicked toward Hun Wuya's tombstone, which glowed blood-red, and she immediately understood. She looked up at Hun Diao in mid-air and mocked him coldly.
"You really do have quite a bunch of fine descendants. It seems your Soul Clan has been plotting this for more than a day or two. And here I was, thinking your Soul Clan descendants were filial enough to come pay respects to you." Ling Qingya narrowed her eyes slightly, filled with disdain. "Using your own ancestor's grave to inscribe a formation—only your Soul Clan could do something so utterly unfilial."
"Hmph! Cut the nonsense!" Hun Diao raised a hand, his eyes cold. "Only that idiot Gu Yuan would possess ownership of the Heavenly Tomb yet allow so many powerful remnant souls to remain here. He never thought of refining and using them. What a despicable waste."
Hearing Hun Diao's words, Ling Qingya laughed speechlessly.
"There's nothing to be done about that. After all, Gu Yuan is someone who still cares about his reputation." Ling Qingya lowered her head to glance at the chains around her, completely unflustered. "So, what do you intend to do?"
"Though you successfully hid this formation from us, given the strength of this Soul Formation, it can only bind us for five minutes at most."
"In merely five minutes, you cannot even refine one of our remnant souls."
Ling Qingya looked up at Hun Diao, her gaze icy.
"I'd really like to see what tricks you can pull. Use whatever methods you have, because once those five minutes are over, you'll be finished for good. This time, we absolutely will not leave you any chance to keep living."
As Ling
