After leaving the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan, Xiao Yan did not return to Starfall Pavilion. Instead, he went straight to the Tianhe Alliance and directly sought out Xiao Mei.
He had no choice. The senior figures inside the Ring had nearly argued Xiao Yan to madness. Otherwise, he would not have been in such a hurry to leave the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan.
Inside the Tianhe Alliance, Xiao Yan happened to run into Xiao Mei in the corridor. When she saw him, her face immediately lit up with joy.
"Cousin Xiao Yan!"

"Long time no see. How have things been at the Tianhe Alliance?"

With her hands behind her back, Xiao Mei answered softly. Xiao Yan chuckled, took out a Storage Ring, and held it before her. Xiao Mei froze for a moment, then spread out her palm in confusion. A ring then fell from Xiao Yan's hand into hers.
"Hmm?" Xiao Mei pinched the ring between her fingers and looked at Xiao Yan. "Cousin Xiao Yan, what is this?"
"Some senior figures want to get to know you."
Senior figures? They wanted to know me? Where were they?
Not only did Xiao Yan's answer fail to resolve Xiao Mei's confusion, it only deepened it. Just as she was about to press him further, a voice suddenly rang out in her mind.
