• Xiao Yan learned that Mu She had besieged the Myriad Medicine Pavilion and that Xiao Yi Xian was trapped inside, then fought his way to her and helped her escape.
• Xiao Yan killed Mu Li and Mu She, but nearly lost control and turned his rage on the mercenaries before Yao Chen brought him back to his senses.
• Xiao Yan stormed the Wolf Head Mercenary Group's fortress, killed three Dou Lings, and rescued Boss Yao, while Yun Ying erased Xiao Yan's memories of her.
• Xiao Yi Xian forgave the mercenaries but demanded compensation, then learned that Boss Yao was poisoned and dying.
• Boss Yao explained that Xiao Yi Xian's Calamitous Poison Body had caused the villagers' deaths and his own poisoning, and asked Xiao Yan to look after her.

After discovering a massacre and killing its human attackers, he faced the furious Mo Bass while sending Qing Lin and the cloaked woman to find Xiao Jing.

• Xiao Yi Xian chose to live and face her Calamitous Poison Body with Xiao Yan, then left Myriad Medicine Pavilion with him.

Yao Chen and Yue Mei helped Xiao Yan survive attacks by the Snake-people leaders, but the Snake-people declared him dead and blamed him for a massacre. As Xiao Jing and their allies investigated the false report and pushed for reconciliation, the Snake-people prepared for a human retaliation and Queen Medusa faced a new visitor.

• Yin Ke doubted the report of Xiao Yan’s death, but when Xiao Li’s forces arrived at the frontline, he recognized her and slipped away to alert the Mo Family Envoy.
• Xiao Yan captured Yin Ke and a white-robed witness, then brought them toward the Holy Land as Jia Xingtian and Nalan Jie helped him face Yan Luotian and Wu Ya.
• Queen Medusa stopped the fighting, and the captive witness identified the Misty Cloud Sect as the power behind the attacks before Yan Luotian revealed his plan to exterminate the Snake-people.
