White Shark pulled the Sea God's Trident from his body and used it to fight Ye Qin, then turned on Red Ghost when he refused to share its power. Ye Qin left the two clan chiefs battling and reunited with Qian Renxue, but Hong Yu attacked him and found him unharmed.

• White Shark endured the trident's heat, pulled the Sea God's Trident free, and drove Ye Qin back with its power.
• Red Ghost abandoned his fight with Ying Ji and demanded that White Shark share the trident, but White Shark attacked him instead.
• White Shark and Red Ghost began fighting, while Ye Qin left them to battle and flew down to Azure Sea City.

• Mo Shuang and Ye Qin arrived at the harbor and recognized the Blood Skull Pirate Group’s ships.
• Yu Lan ordered his pirates to loot the Merman Tribe’s town and burn it down, but Mo Shuang and Ye Qin interrupted them.
• Mo Shuang defeated Yu Lan and learned that Red Ghost had sent the pirates to the island, while Yu Lan believed the Ghost Shark Second Tribe had taken the Merman Tribe members.
• Mo Shuang’s red gas killed the weaker pirates, and Ye Qin killed the fleeing pirates and the remaining powerful members.
• Mo Shuang lost consciousness and attacked Ye Qin, who dodged her blows while trying to awaken her.

Bo Saixi arrived on Three Moon Island and used the Sea God's Light to stop Mo Shuang's berserk state, then explained how Ye Qin could seek a lasting cure for her. Ye Qin reopened the formation concealing the Merman Tribe, and its people appeared around the pagoda.

• Bo Saixi arrived and calmed Mo Shuang with the Sea God's Light, after which Ye Qin caught her as she collapsed.
• Bo Saixi explained that Mo Shuang's affliction could be cured by reaching the divine realm, finding the lost Sea God's Tree, or refining a pill from five powerful Soul Beast hearts with the Sea God's Light; Ye Qin chose the third method.

A divine force then lifted Azure Sea City from the sinking Underwater Ruins, and Ye Qin proposed placing it on Merman Island under Gu Tong’s protection.

• Mo Kong told Mo Shuang that Elder Mo Li and others had died activating the Sea God's Grand Array to save the Merman Tribe from the Ghost Fish and Mad Shark Tribes.
• Mo Shuang and Ye Qin set out with Bo Saixi to destroy the Ghost Shark Second Tribe, but found Mad Shark Island and Ghostfish Island deserted and decided not to pursue the fleeing tribes.
• A tremendous boom and whirlpool struck the waters near Three Moon Island, and a divine force pushed Ye Qin, Mo Shuang, and Bo Saixi away from the Underwater Ruins.

Ye Qin and Mo Shuang arranged for Azure Sea City to settle on Merman Island, where Mo Wuning became the new clan leader as Mo Shuang prepared to leave with Ye Qin. As they sailed toward Douluo Continent, Mo Shuang learned more about Ye Qin’s powerful partners and the journey ahead to cure her berserk syndrome.

• Gu Tong agreed to settle Azure Sea City on Merman Island, and the Underwater Ruins sank as the whirlpool disappeared.

After Xiao Yu defeated Qian Daoliu and became Spirit Hall’s Sacred Beast, Ye Qin and Qian Renxue reunited with the Great Enshrined and explained their recent journey to Sea God Island. The chapter ended with Qian Daoliu recognizing Mo Shuang as the Ancient Merman Tribe’s chief and identifying her father as Mo Tianchi.

• Sheng Yan explained that Xiao Yu had defeated Qian Daoliu in a spar and earned the title of Spirit Hall’s Sacred Beast.
• Xiao Yu revealed that Wang Qiuer had urged her to fight Qian Daoliu, while Wang Qiuer slipped away toward Pope Hall.

Ye Qin arrived at the Pope Hall, where Hu Liena had grown powerful enough to defeat four Spirit Hall geniuses at once. After reuniting with her, he forgave Han Dong for his past hostility but demanded his loyalty to Spirit Hall, then asked the others to leave so he and Hu Liena could talk.

• Ye Qin learned that Hu Liena had managed Spirit Hall as acting Pope with support from Chrysanthemum Ghost Douluo and the Great Enshrined, while Bibi Dong remained in seclusion.
