He looked as though he was afraid Mizuki Ember might suddenly decide to perform another organ-removal operation.

He did not have any masochistic tendencies. It just all felt a little unreal.

He had even started doubting what Iki had said earlier.

It was like when your door was locked and you could not open it, so you called a locksmith, only for them to solve the problem instantly.

In short, Rakai still felt that this was all terribly unreal!
