"Tap, tap, tap~"
Orderly footsteps suddenly echoed from the Mist Ninja Academy, bringing a touch of life back to the campus that had already fallen silent.
"Oh, looks like it's over. It took about an hour, I guess? Not bad efficiency!" Soji said with a smile as he watched the three figures walk out of the Mist Ninja Academy side by side.
"Then let's see what the final result is," Kabuto chimed in from the side.
Perhaps it was a habit of people who wore glasses, but even though his glasses had not slipped down, Kabuto subconsciously pushed them up every so often.
Looking back at the Mist Ninja Academy, Yota walked in the middle with a smile on his face, still seeming a little unsatisfied; Haku wore a gentle smile on the left, while Kimimaro remained as cool and aloof as ever on the right.
The three kids had very different personalities, yet they got along exceptionally well.
"Ah! Teacher, we've completed the mission!" The moment he saw Soji, Yota excitedly ran over first.
Seeing this, Haku and Kimimaro exchanged a glance and could only helplessly quicken their pace to follow.
"Not bad! So, did you run into any troublesome opponents?" Soji rubbed Yota's head, glanced at Haku and Kimimaro, then asked.
The three kids shook their heads at the same time.
Still, Kimimaro was the one who finally spoke. "I wouldn't call them troublesome opponents, but Kirigakure's students are indeed somewhat stronger on average than those of the other four great ninja villages, including Konoha."
Haku and Yota might not have noticed, since they had bulldozed through Kirigakure's students with AOE attacks. Only Kimimaro, who specialized in taijutsu, had some sense of it.
