Leaving the Provincial Capital and traveling more than thirty miles west, they arrived at a manor built in a river valley.
Velin stepped down from the carriage and looked up. The horizon was gradually beginning to lighten.
The Blue-haired Head Maid stood beside the carriage. Upon seeing the two men, she lowered her head in greeting and gestured for them to enter. "Lord Clyster, Lord Velin, please come in."
Clyster and Velin headed toward Winson Manor, with the Blue-haired Head Maid close behind as she explained the manor's layout.
The accompanying silver-armored guards waited solemnly beside the carriage.
"Lord Clyster, Lord Velin, Her Highness only took over this manor half a year ago. Aside from the serfs tending the orchards, there are only thirteen maids available. Would you like me to transfer some maids from the city?"
Hearing this, Clyster stopped and looked at Velin. "I don't mind. What about you, Velin?"
"I'm not someone accustomed to luxury either." Velin stopped and replied with a smile.
The Blue-haired Head Maid lowered her head. "Understood, my lords."
The manor's main residence consisted of a three-story brick-and-stone building, flanked by two two-story wooden buildings.
Several pavilions stood around it, surrounded by flowers. It was practically a small garden, quite distinctive in its design.
Before the main residence, a Head Maid and twelve maids had already been waiting. When they saw the newcomers, they all bowed respectfully.
"My lords, if you need anything, please send someone to the Provincial Capital."
"Mm."
Clyster nodded and waved, indicating there was nothing further to discuss.
Seeing this, the Blue-haired Head Maid bowed, then took her leave of the manor and returned to the Provincial Capital.
"Velin, I'll leave this place to you. I'm going to look around elsewhere."
