Velin rose to his feet, stepped forward, and gave the other man a hug. Somewhat excited, he said, "Lord Clyster, welcome back."
Clyster froze for a moment before returning the hug with a smile. "The benefits you brought were so great that I could hardly accept them."
The two let go, sat down on the ground, and began talking.
"Before you went missing, you were still a Soul Intent Mid-Tier Knight. When we met again, you had already become a Soul Intent High-level Knight. It truly amazed me!" Clyster sighed as he sensed Velin's strength.
Hearing that, Velin said, "I'm confused too. When I woke up, I found that I was already a Soul Intent High-level Knight. But my Druid profession hadn't improved at all. It was still at the stage of having just entered the Soul Intent rank."
A puzzled look appeared on Clyster's face. "You don't have any relevant memories?"
"No." Velin shook his head. "As for the knot you mentioned, I don't know what it was either. Perhaps I've already resolved it. After all, both of us gained such tremendous benefits."
Upon hearing this, Clyster hesitated for a while but ultimately gave up on telling him about that drop of Golden Blood.
"By the way, Lord Clyster, do you know how much time has passed?"
"About half a year."
"That long?"
Velin looked startled, but quickly calmed down. After all, this had not been an ordinary trial, but an attempt to resolve the lingering knot of an unknown powerhouse.
Only half a year might have passed in the real world, but perhaps he had lived for a thousand years in that other world.
"Oh no, it seems we've passed the time we agreed upon with the Dawn Sword Saint."
Hearing Clyster's words, Velin realized it as well.
