When Xuemiyya saw her husband arrive, helplessness showed on her face as she said, "Uncle has already left."
"I already know." Velin nodded and replied, "But a monk may run away, yet the temple remains. I'll wait here for the time being. I refuse to believe he won't come back."
"What will you do if Uncle really hides and refuses to see you?" Xuemiyya could not help asking.
"Isn't that simple?" Velin said confidently. "If he doesn't return within three days, I'll invite Aunt Flora over. I refuse to believe he won't come back once he senses her presence."
Xuemiyya blinked her large eyes, moved to Velin's side, leaned close to his ear, and softly suggested, "How about I go invite Aunt Flora right now?"
