Seeing this, the officer raised his hand, preparing to suppress them by force, when a sword pierced through his chest.
He struggled to turn around and looked at the cold-faced noble behind him before finally collapsing.
The dozen or so Stone Armor Legion soldiers beside the officer fell one after another under the encirclement and slaughter of the surrounding noble soldiers.

"Master, what do we do now?" A knight covered in blood stepped forward and asked quietly.
The middle-aged noble looked at the officer who had died with his eyes still open and softly said an apology before speaking. "Gather our men. We break out."

He looked up at the enemy battle flag fluttering on the western wall, then led several guards down from the wall without looking back. Mounting their warhorses, they charged out through the city gate.
