Governor Bruce of Barisan looked at the Human Army waiting in full battle formation without fear. His heart brimmed with fighting spirit.

Of the dwarf veterans following behind Bruce, only a little over six thousand remained. Every one of them was wounded, their fighting spirit high and their resolve set on death.
"Io Lixis, I know you're in the army."
Bruce rose into the air and arrived before the two armies. His rough voice carried throughout the Hurricane Legion.
"Bruce, it's been a long time."
Earl Hurricane Io Lixis did not conceal himself. He flew into the air and watched Bruce, his gaze carrying an indescribable meaning.
"Hahaha, you old bastard really were waiting for me." Bruce threw back his head and laughed, saying without concealment, "You were the one behind this scheme."
"That's right."
Io Lixis did not deny it and admitted it openly.
"Of course. If we're talking about the human who understands me best, there's only you." Longing showed in Bruce's eyes, but there was even more hatred. "You've changed. You've become willing to use any means necessary."
