Five days later, in the study, Velin learned that Uncle O'dor had returned. He immediately tossed away the book in his hand and prepared to slip away.

Suddenly, a stern gaze fell on him, making Velin stop in his tracks instinctively.

Turning around and seeing Xuemiyya, Velin obediently walked to the corner, picked up the book, and placed it on the desk.

Seeing this, Xuemiyya lowered her head and continued reading, no longer paying any attention to her husband.

After leaving the study, Velin headed straight for the Outer City District of Star Moon Fort. He had already made up his mind: after asking about the space that existed between illusion and reality, he would stay there for a day. He absolutely would not return before the following morning.

At the manor, O'dor brewed a pot of tea. Just as he was about to sit down, he saw Velin swaggering in.

"Uncle, you're back."

With a smile on his face, Velin strode in lightly.

O'dor sat down without showing any reaction, but a trace of wariness rose within him. Confusion flashed through his eyes. This brat isn't here to supervise me, is he?

It had been nearly two years since Velin handed the War Beast Puppet over to him, yet the restoration was still less than one-third complete.

It was not that he did not want to repair it as quickly as possible. He also had to make time for Flora, teach his two students and Lucas, conduct magical experiments, and occasionally inspect the Underground World.

In short, it was not that he did not want to; he simply did not have that much time.

Of course, if he did not have the construction of a magical Floating Ship piled up afterward, he could have finished it in three months.
