In the Royal Palace's Administrative Hall, King Oleus (disguised as Ross Okra, the first king) awaits Duchess Elissina of the White Rose. She notices the Crimson Abyss Sword and deduces his true identity. Ross reveals his plan to exchange one-fifth of the royal treasury for the evacuation of all youths under fifty from the Okra Kingdom. Elissina, after some initial shock, agrees to the deal but declines the treasure, accepting instead a purple light orb from Ross. Ross hints at the inevitability of the Okra Kingdom's fall and the birth of a new country, expressing his unwillingness to surrender. Elissina understands and accepts his decision.
