"Huh? Were you talking to me?"

Luffy pointed at himself in confusion, instantly wearing the face of a bewildered monkey.

"Yes, we were speaking to you." Doctor nodded solemnly.

"You've got the wrong person. I-I'm not crazy!" Luffy jumped in agitation. He might have been a little dumb, but he definitely wasn't insane.

Doctor's gaze suddenly sharpened. "Confirmed. All mentally ill people say they aren't sick."

"I can testify!" The newsstand owner jumped out with a newspaper in hand. "I just saw this young man talking to a wall by himself."

"Doctors, you must cure this poor young man!"

"We understand. Please rest assured."

Doctor suddenly pulled out a belt and tied up Luffy's hands. Sometimes, when dealing with uncooperative psychiatric patients, they had no choice but to do this.

Several doctors worked together to carry Luffy into the psychiatric van.

"Let me go! I'm not sick! I really am not sick!!" Luffy wailed as he shook the bars inside the van.

In truth, he could have broken free with just a little force. A mere psychiatric van could never hold him, but when he saw the law-enforcement robots flying overhead, Luffy decisively abandoned any thought of escape.

Luffy was no longer the idiot boy he had once been. He was still counting on Lin Qi to help him deal with the World Government, so it was best not to make too much of a scene on their turf.

And so, the psychiatric van drove all the way into the mental hospital.

"I want to see the director! I'm really not mentally ill!"

Even as several people carried him into the hospital, Luffy still tried to struggle.

"Ah, poor child." The kind-looking old director sighed deeply. "Everyone who comes here says they aren't sick."
