• Katakuri failed to rescue Linlin when Saint Saturn seized his trident and slammed it into the ground, so Katakuri, Smoker, Cracker, and Snack prepared to face the Elder together.
• Akainu confronted Lin Qi and declared that the Marines would win the war and leave the Pirates dead.
• Chaton interrupted Akainu to accuse Lin Qi of stealing Momousagi, prompting disgust from Akainu and Marigold.
• Akainu launched Great Eruption at Lin Qi, but the Heart Crossing Demon Blade moved by itself and split the magma attack.

The World Destroyer, World, attacked Baron Tamago and revealed that he had joined the World Government in exchange for help curing his brother. Baron Tamago fought back but was badly outmatched by World’s overwhelming Motive-Motive Fruit powers.

• Chaton charged toward Jinbe while Akainu and Marigold attacked Lin Qi, and the other fighters split into separate battles.
• World fired a massive bullet at Baron Tamago, who survived the hit with his strengthened body.
• Baron Tamago recognized World and learned that the World Government had recruited him by promising to cure his brother.
• Baron Tamago attacked World with Benedict Leg, but World cleaved him in half with a hundredfold axe strike.
• World wounded Baron Tamago with a stronger bullet, leaving him bleeding as he struggled to match World’s power.

While Lin Qi faced danger on Whole Cake Island, his thirty thousand Marines used advanced weapons to hold off the CP Organization. Tom Cat rescued three captains from two CP0 agents and planned to join his master after the battle.

• Mark piloted a new mech and attacked the CP Agents while Tie Xing and Tom helped the Marines bombard the shoreline.
• Vice Admiral Rudolf cut Mark's mech in half, and Mark transformed into a Triceratops to fight him.
• Two CP0 agents boarded the ships and defeated three captains who tried to stop them.
• Tom Cat blocked the CP0 agents' attacks and frightened them into fleeing by invoking his reputation.
• Tom Cat privately admitted he had been relieved the agents ran, then set out to help his master.

Lin Qi fought Akainu, survived his Hell Hound attack, and struck him into a vast abyss with a Conqueror’s Haki sword slash. Elsewhere, Big Mom attacked Kizaru, but Garp intervened and helped him evade her beam.

• Lin Qi kicked Marigold away and trapped his fist inside Akainu’s magma head as Akainu caught Lin Qi’s fist in his chest.
• Akainu’s Hell Hound failed to pierce Lin Qi, who recovered his Cursed Sword and unleashed a massive slash that sent Akainu into a deep abyss.
• Lin Qi called down to the abyss and presumed Akainu dead, joking that he would raise Akainu’s wife and daughters.
• Kizaru bombarded Big Mom with Yasakani no Magatama, but her defenses left her unharmed.
• Big Mom fired her Light-Sound Cannon at Kizaru, and Garp struck her back and enabled Kizaru to escape the attack.

Garp and Kizaru struggled to contain a berserk Big Mom while Lin Qi surveyed the other battles and discovered Chaton had become far stronger than an Admiral candidate. After defeating Jinbe with his Rabbit Breathing Technique, Chaton fixed his sights on Lin Qi and declared that killing him was the purpose of his suffering.

• Big Mom fought Garp recklessly, injuring him even as he knocked out several of her teeth, and Kizaru urged Garp to watch his wounds.
• Garp thought of Dragon and Luffy, then rejected Kizaru's concern and renewed his attack on Big Mom.
• Lin Qi observed the battlefields and saw the Sweet Four Commanders hold Saint Saturn at bay while the other fights continued.
• Lin Qi noticed that Chaton had green hair, a red nose, and strength beyond an Admiral candidate, and recognized his Rabbit Breathing Technique.
• Chaton used Rabbit Breathing Technique, Sixth Form: Water Moon Radiance, to cut Jinbe down and leave him unconscious.
