"Eye of Deconstruction. Thousand Weaving Hands."
Ian read the descriptions of the two spells.
The first was an observation spell. Unlike Ian's Eye of Harmonization, which focused on plants and living things, this one focused on materials.
The second released threads of mental power for precise cutting, shaping, joining, and rune engraving.
He could sense a clear difference between these spells and the potion-making tradition he had studied.
"But they have something in common."
Ian narrowed his eyes. After bringing the Eye of Harmonization to Master Level, he had become adept at fine control.
Now he simply had to work with inorganic materials instead of magical plants.
He thought he would pick it up quickly.
With that in mind, Ian took a deep breath and began studying.

A faint golden light gleamed in his eyes.
He took a piece of lava crystal from beside him. Under the golden light, the solid stone gradually became translucent to his sight.
He felt as though he could perceive things deeper inside it, including concentrations of magical power and impurities.
But the details were still unclear.
Then Ian waved his hand. Translucent threads slowly appeared and wound around the crystal.
The next instant, the threads took on a pale red hue and sliced the crystal in two like hot knives through butter.
"Thousand Weaving Hands is genuinely interesting. I can weave different kinds of magical power into it to produce different effects. They must be suited to different materials."
Ian found it fascinating.
He tried other effects: a blade of water, wind's sharp edge, Earth Element's weight...
The only drawback was that he could produce just three or four threads.
He had only just learned the spell and was nowhere near proficient enough.
"But I still have a month. That's
