Ian stopped what he was doing.
"How does it feel? Does it seem like nothing has really changed?" Flynn asked with a smile.

"That is normal. Those present are all top Academy forces and Wizards. The people they pay attention to are usually only the chief and second-seat disciples, along with certain top figures. Only after newly admitted core members display some value will things possibly change."
Flynn smiled.

Ian was somewhat curious. His understanding of the core ranks was still relatively limited.
"You have only just entered the core, so let me introduce it to you."
Flynn said, "There are currently twelve core members. It may look as though the gap between everyone is not that great, but the difference within those ranks is greater than the gap between you and a newly initiated Wizard."
