Aaron, visible in the crystal ball, was not angry. Instead, he looked intrigued.

"You haven't asked the Academy for resources in years. Is this for your student?"

Aaron looked at Kieran.

Kieran did not deny it. He nodded. "From my teacher to me, we spent years searching for this inheritance. Now my student Ian has found it. As his teacher, I should secure some benefits for him."

"Ian."

Aaron considered the name, then nodded. "All right. What do you want?"

"A portion of elemental essence."

Kieran spoke slowly.

"White Stone Essence?"

Aaron's expression turned serious. He clearly had not expected Kieran to ask for so much.

"Are you sure you're not joking?"

Kieran shook his head. "White Stone Essence is a precious resource produced in the heart of the White Stone Mountains. It forms under the mountains' immense elemental pressure and unique conditions. It can repair the hidden injuries Elemental Wizards suffer from elemental collisions, help Wizards develop a Transcendent Physique more smoothly, and even improve that physique further.

"It's a Second Ring resource, but its value rivals that of some top-tier Second Ring resources. Even the Academy produces only three portions every twenty years.

"As far as I know, the latest three portions formed this year. There should still be one left. I want that last portion."

"A top-tier Transcendent Physique inheritance is worth that much!"

Aaron listened to Kieran's precise explanation and saw his earnest expression. "You've had your eye on it for a long time, haven't you?"

Kieran nodded calmly.

"You really do value Ian." Aaron paused. "All right!"

"I also want a set of Hearts of Elements. The Academy should still have one formed in the White Stone Mountains, containing all four elements from the same source."
