The branch stood on a plain, forming a gigantic city around several enormous Wizard Towers at its center.

As soon as Erga returned, he headed straight for a towering Wizard Tower in the city center.

After announcing his arrival.

He followed a Servant Witch upstairs, eventually reaching a room on the tower's highest floor.

Inside were only a broad mahogany desk and a bookshelf. A bald wizard sat behind the desk, handling documents.

"Dean Albus!"

Upon entering, even Erga's breathing grew quieter. The man before him was one of the Radiant Light Wizard Branch's Vice Deans, the Three Rings Grand Wizard Albus Vele.

"Ah, Erga."

Albus slowly raised his head and said, "Weren't you studying at Elemental Mysteries in White Stone Territory?"

"My lord, I've finished handling matters at Elemental Mysteries," Erga replied respectfully.

"How did it go? Smoothly?"

"Smoothly."

Hearing that, Albus nodded.

They had naturally conducted preliminary surveys of the Elemental Mountains in White Stone Territory over the past year or so.

The deposit was mid-grade Three Rings, but its size already qualified as supermassive.

However, dense elemental mist shrouded the deposit. Large-scale mining would require dealing with that first, which would take enormous manpower and resources. Thus, although the lower-ranking wizards knew nothing about it, the Radiance Branch Academy had already made it part of its secret strategy for the coming decades.

The prerequisite, however, was that they could not let the other branches catch wind of it.

Truthfully, as an alchemist, Erga still did not know the reason, but today he had something else he was more eager to report.

"My lord, a wizard from Elemental Mysteries played an important role in making this undertaking go so smoothly. He surprised me somewhat," Erga said.

"Oh? Tell me."

Albus was somewhat
